Last night Ricky and I went to His work dinner for Wexcon Foremen and wives. We went to a pretty nice place in Douglasville, PA and I am still stuffed! I had salmon and key lime pie and lots of rolls while we were waiting. The service was so slow we were there for three hours! Ricky was upset because we were missing Game 7 of the Flyers/ Capitals playoffs. We had a good time though and we made it home to see the Flyers triumph in overtime. Yeah! I cried when they scored I was so happy (I know it's dumb).
One of Ricky's co-workers has a son in Dhaka, Bangladesh and they had recently gone over to visit them. It was fun to hear their stories of horror and culture shock:) They couldn't believe that I had actually gone over there by myself. Maybe I am a little crazy. We were also told at the dinner that this years company picnic is going to be at Kenoble's park. They said we'll get free passes and spend all day there riding rides etc. It sound like a lot of fun. The only problem is I'll probably have a very small baby. It's July 12Th and I'm due June 15thish. We'll have to play it by ear I guess.
Yesterday afternoon I went and got a load of sand so I can make a sandbox for Chase. It's all sitting on the back of the truck and I wanted to unload it this morning but I'm having a friend and her 3 girls over and I don't think I have the time. I'll have to do it this afternoon, I guess.
It looks like we won't be going away this weekend after all. We were going to go to a cabin in PA with our friends, Chad and Sheila but it's not going to work out after all. We're leaving in one week for NY though and are sooooo excited.
I took these pictures of Chase "reading". He loves looking at his books and will sit and look at them for an hour. It's very cute.
one more thing: I just saw an article in the paper about a local dog groomer who is on this new show about dog groomers on the animal planet and realized it is the guy who clipped Mishti and Penny! How weird. No wonder he was so expensive:)
