Laundry Days

Monday is laundry day at the Eberly's so I am planning on not going anywhere today. It usually takes me all day because I hang it out to dry. It's worth it though for the fresh clean smell (plus the money we save on the electric).
The other day I bought some baby clothes in prep for the new arrival. I have plenty now I think. I didn't have that much NB stuff from Chase for some reason. I think I had given some away to a lady at church. Oh Well. I bet you all would like to see what I got:) Mom had also brought up 3 bags of stuff from a woman at her church. I was able to get a lot from that too. There were a ton of sleepers in the bags so I don't need any of them. There's still a bunch of stuff that I need to do BB (before baby). I had been thinking about when I went to the hospital to get induced with Chase it was nice cause I could clean my house and pack my bag, etc and wasn't surprised by the onset of Labor. I'm so worried that I'm going to go into labor and my house will be a wreck. It's dumb, I know.
Chase got a little sick this weekend. I guess we were doing a little to much for him. He seems a little better today so I think it must have been a one day thing. Yesterday Mishti found a dead bird and brought it to the door to show us, she was pretty proud of herself. Eww! We obviously didn't let her keep it.
I found one ripe strawberry and picked it and ate it. It was soooo good! Home grown strawberries can not compare to the ones you buy in the store at all. Ricky's mom said she would pick all our strawberries and make them into jam for us. Have at it Mom. Ricky's Grandpa went into the hospital again this morning. Apparently he has bad kidney's and he was in a lot of pain. They said they might start him on dialysis. I guess he is probably too old for a transplant. He amazes me how strong he is though. He still gives the nurses a hard time like you wouldn't believe.
Ricky and his dad are planning on going to NY again this coming weekend. They are going to leave Friday sometime and come home Sunday afternoon. They are tentin' it again on the Cheney's land. Ricky's dad found a plot of land for sale that they are going to look at too I think. 53 acres and a cabin! That would be nice if we would have somewhere to hunt in the fall. Maybe I would actually be able to go out again.
Anyway... So much for my quick update.

Boo Flyers! I couldn't watch the 3rd period :(

Amy,

The lady at church who gave the baby clothes thinks you're going to have a boy.

Love,
MOM

Amy, If you hung out your laundry today, do you have trouble keeping them on the line? It is soo windy. Lucky you, a ripe strawberry! Love, Grandma

I was planning a few days of serious cleaning before vacation and then when we got back was going to do the rest of the serious cleaning "BB" when I went into labor with Danica- Oops!! So people saw my nasty house.
I love hanging the laundry out as much as I can too! It was cold enough to take most of the day to dry half of one load so I had to use the dryer still :( Jesse said he might put up another one for me so I can get more out there at once.
How exciting for your strawberry already! Did you 3 split it? I could see you doing that. Cute.

Thanks for the tip! I might try it next time if we have more of a chance to catch it earlier. Or maybe if I had seen your comment earlier too :) Danica gives us a little more warning of being sick than Alex does so maybe we'll be able to do more natural things with her. Most of Alex's sicknesses are respiratory related and come with no warning- so we wind up in the ER in the middle of the night.
