The latest scoop

Ok so here is the latest happenings. Tomorrow I am supposedly 10 days late and they had me scheduled for an induction of Friday morning. I told them this afternoon that I don't think I want to have it on Friday so they are going to let me go till Monday now. Hopefully it won't go that long but I feel relieved that I have a few more days. I was feeling a lot of pressure and stress that they were rushing me with the induction. The only reason they wanted to do it on Friday is because they don't induce on the weekend and I'm 42 weeks on a Sunday. I went for another NST this morning and they said the baby looks very healthy and I think it is safer for it to hang out in there a little longer than to try and force something that is not ready, ya know.
I go tomorrow evening to the birth center again and they said they would check my cervix then so I will let you know what is going on. I still feel like it's never going to happen though. I think God is trying to teach me patience.
I finished my laundry today and finally finished cutting and hanging the rest of the meadow tea.

By the way... does anybody want some of these bushes?

we have 7 that we would like moved from the side of our driveway for more parking space and I'm not sure where to put all of them. I hate to just throw them out too cause they're pretty nice. Any takers?

I'll be sure to keep you all posted as to any new developments.

Amy~
I think that it is so wise to give yourself and the baby a couple more days. Praying for you as you wait. It is definitely tough and I am sure even harder now that you well are past "your date"...We may possibly be able to take some of your bushes if no one else is interested. They look nice and we have lots of landscaping to fill:) Let us know...Praying for you:)

Amy, I think you are wise to just give your baby time to get "in the mood" and come when he- she? is ready. It will happen. We are all so anxious for you to have the baby, but probably not as anxious as you are! I was 10 days late with Sam and he still came fast- not long labor at all. Love you, Grandma

Seems like everyone is on the same page. God and baby know best. Patience is a virtue!! I would like to have at least one of your bushes. Do they like the shade? That is where I want to put it. Do you know the name of it. I'll look it up online if you know the name. Thanks

Remember this song from the Music Machine?
Have patience, have patience
Don't be in such a hurry.
When you get impatient
You only start to worry.
Remember, remember
that God is patient, too.
And think of all the times that others have to wait for you!

Isaiah 64:9 - God...acts on behalf of those who wait for him.

As to the bushes, I think they're some kind of cypress.

Love,
Mom

I've seen some other bushes similar to these in town and they can get pretty big I think. I'm sure you can keep them trimmed back though. You can't really tell from the picture but they are a goldish green color. Very nice looking. They are under a sycamore tree at the side of our driveway so I'm sure they must like the shade. I've also seen them in full sun too, I believe they are pretty hardy. Whoever wants them please, help yourselves.
