waiting for baby

I've been trying to keep busy as I am waiting to go into labor. Wednesday I went to work for a little to get adjusted and felt so good afterward! Actually all this week I've been feeling really good and had all sorts of energy. What a blessing because I've been able to get a lot of stuff done that I had been putting off. I had an appointment at the birth center Wednesday evening and that was fine. I really am so happy with my midwives and trust them so much. It's a much better feeling than last time.

Thursday I weeded a lot because my midwife said that would be a good position for me to be in to get the baby turned right. It felt good to get it all finished too. I had a hard time sleeping last night because I thought I was going into labor. I was having contractions 10 minutes apart but they were the cramping ones not just the braxton hicks, so I thought I was starting labor and was all excited and couldn't sleep. This morning I had to go to Reading OBGYN for a non-stress test and ultrasound to check my fluid levels. The NST went well and the Dr. was very happy with the baby's heart rate and everything. She also said I have lots of fluid still. I actually have the max amount of fluid that you can have. She said the baby looks very good and happy in there. She was also able to confirm the sex 100% too. Still not telling:)
I'm hoping to go into labor very soon though. Keep praying please.

Tonight we had Ricky's parent's and Patty and Dexter and Dominic over for cake and ice cream for Chase's birthday. I had to buy the cake since our oven is broken but it tasted very good. I had gotten the Thomas the Train thing for the top of his cake yesterday and he had been begging for it ever since so he was happy that I finally gave it to him. He also cried when it was time for him to go to bed and he had to put it away.
He actually blew out his candle's too. What a big boy! He and Dominic had so much fun running around outside and playing afterward.
Here's a picture of a puppy. They are getting so big. They all have their eyes open and are walking pretty well now.

I'm praying for you too. I hope you have this little one before it gets so hot again. I've been watching for more on your blog and thinking maybe I would be getting a phone call soon. You are surely in my thoughts and prayers. Grandma

I actually had a dream last night about "our" Yorkie catching a chipmunk! Weird, huh?

Love,

I love Chase's haircut. Looks like our guys when they were little. Am praying for you. Sounds like your body is getting ready. Hang in there
