Goodbye Oscar... we hardly knew you.
Ok, Seriously though. I've been pretty busy lately. Monday, Patty(Ricky's sister) called me in the morning and said that she and a bunch of other ladies and children were getting together at Ricky's aunt Francie's house. Tina (cousin) had the idea of doing a carnival for all the kids. She had come up with all sorts of games for them to play with prizes. She also made lunch for everyone with carnival food like popcorn and funnel cakes and slushies, etc. We went over there around 11:00 and left at 2:00. Chase desperately needed a nap when we got home. I always like to see how he acts around other children. He likes them but doesn't really play with them. He keeps himself occupied really well. He reminds me of when Dawn was little and how she used to play by herself all the time. This one picture cracks me up because Chase was giving Joanna kisses and I was trying to get a picture of it. She accidentally touched his car and he was very concerned about it as you can see. hahahaha
I was trying to get a picture of Joanna smiling but my camera is slow taking pictures so I only sort of got it. She smiles a lot bigger and for real. I think she smiled at my dad the other day so he can vouch for me if you don't believe me.
Oh, and she does have eyebrows, but they are blond and so are her eyelashes. That is why I think she is going to turn blond but Ricky thinks I'm crazy.
So Tuesday, I went to NJ with the circus (literally). I left at 9:00am and took both adult dogs and all 3 puppies and both the kids. It took me about 2 hours to get there (usually an hour and a half) and I hit traffic and stopped to change Jo's diaper, so that wasn't bad. I had to go down because the puppies needed their shots and I don't feel comfortable giving them yet. I decided to go down there because I also wanted the adult dogs groomed by the woman who used to do them for my parents. She does such a nice job and I haven't found anybody who can groom them that well up here. I'll have to get a pic of them, they look nice. So I hung out at my parents until 3:00 then my mom and I went and picked them up. We came back to their house and I tried to nurse Jo and then hit the road around 20 of 5:00. It took me 3 hours to get home! Yikes! I had to stop a couple times and also hit really bad traffic on the Schuylkill. I stopped at a McDonald's with a playground the one time and let Chase run around a little. He was pretty whiney the whole ride back because he hadn't napped enough. Eww, he stuck his hand in something, what is that?
I was so mad when I got home because Mishti threw up as I was pulling into the driveway. Ugh! She made it that whole way!
Oh well. Joanna slept really good last night so I feel pretty good today. I was so tired last night though. I'm hoping Ricky has an early day today. It's supposed to be raining but right now it just looks dreary. I have tons of laundry to do today and thought I might start pulling the wallpaper border off in the living room. I also wanted to try and pick some tomatoes, but I'm not sure if I'll get to that. Does anybody have a good recipe for ketchup? That's all for now.

Funny you should ask for a ketchup recipe. I always make my ketchup and just don't like bought ketchup any more. I am at work, waiting for the checks to be run so I can do that. I have some other work to do, but it has to be after the checks are run. If you want the recipe, I will e mail it to you. Grandma
Well, you can't argue that your life is boring, that's for sure!
Love you,
Mom
She looks chubby already! Mmm I love me some chubby babies :)
And I love that you keep changing your background of your page. I can never figure out how to do that.
Let me know how your ketchup turns out. I may have to figure out what to do with a ton of cherry tomatoes (from the neighbors) here pretty soon.
You are so tricky! I thought- what happened a new background! If I knew how to do it I would have musical instruments as my background. Grandma
Ahhh, the life of a stay at home mom. It's the good stuff. Always a new adventure. Now for me it's the same old same old all the time. (Except of course when the guys come home.) Life should be back to normal for me soon. Anyway, your blog always brings back so many memories for me. Thanks
You're brave going with all of the dogs & the kids to your moms! I get worn out just being pregnant & taking Ben out with me :)
