Friday my parents came over in the morning before they went to the Yoder shindig up past Reading. It was the first time my Dad had seen Joanna so that was nice they were able to stop in. Here are some pics http://onwallinpond.blogspot.com/ of them being here with us. Saturday morning Ricky found us a stove! Yeah! Someone in Terre Hill was getting rid of it because they had gotten all new stuff. It's only 5 years old AND is a flat top like I had wanted AND it matches our fridge perfectly!
They only wanted $140 for it too! I was so happy. I guess it pays to be patient and wait.
Sunday we actually made it to church and were on time too. It was nice to get out but I was so tired when we got back. I laid down with Joanna after lunch and slept for almost 2 & 1/2 hours. My mom came up in the evening and is here now till tomorrow night. She is helping me with my mounds of laundry and we went to the chiropractor this morning and got the family adjusted again. My back has actually been feeling really good lately. I think Chase is sick right now though. He's been having pretty yucky stools lately:( Oh, by the way, Ricky said it was gross that I put a picture of Jo's cord on the blog. Sorry if it grossed any of you out too, I didn't really think about it.
Mom and I are going to go shopping tomorrow for groceries and such. I'm so glad she was able to come up and help me again. What a good Mommy!
Here are some more pictures for your enjoyment:
Chase was sitting next to Joanna's seat singing and talking to her the other morning and she was watching him the whole time.
Daddy and his little girl, out like lights.
Here is the quilt that my Grandma Yoder made for Joanna, isn't it great?!

Ricky is good at sleeping with the kids. I seem to remember a picture of him and Chase sleeping at this age, too!
Love,
Mom
Don't you know, that is what Daddys are good for? So glad you got a stove, that's great. Yes, patience is a good thing. I am very impressed at how often you guys get adjustments. You all must feel good after that and it's got to be good for the little ones too. Thanks for the pix and the update.
I think Jen had a quilt kind of like that when she was little too.
I'm glad you got a new stove... and a pretty nice one too! We have that same knife block thats next to it :)
I wish I knew that you took your kids to the chiro so very little. I would not have been so nervous about taking mine so early. Danica loves it though... we are going tomorrow and I cant wait!
It's super cute that they are becoming good friends already. I'm glad they have each other :)
Love your blog as always. Keep it up. It's my opportunity to tune in to family, since I have no one here at home to talk to. Love ya,
Grandma
What a great new family! Have fun with the baby Joanna and Chase. They will become such great friends. Love, Aunt Lou Anne
Hey- I was just looking at that diaper site again... for the chlorine-free- they are the same price per pack, but they only give you half as many as I get at Walmart. I actually have some oldschool cloth diapers that I could use as liners (though probably a little thicker than the ones they make now, and I found a single cover- but it leaked really bad. As in- she had it on for less than 10 minutes. So I'm going to look into getting a cover or 2 and then working that into our diaper rotation. I would just love to find them a little cheaper!
