To preserve a tiny bit of what is left of my sanity, Patty gave me two baby gates so I can now keep the dog in the kitchen without telling her to do so every 2 seconds. It's working so well that we decided to get another puppy!

He loves this game. He also walks around on all fours barking, and no, he's not wearing pants. Anyway, I love the gates and they make me feel much more at ease during the day, so thanks Patty!

I'm Not sure what all I did this week, obviously nothing exciting. Joanna has not been sleeping well again so I've been in a semi-conscious state all week. Well maybe that's an exaggeration, but I have been really tired. I actually was able to go jogging yesterday and Thursday. I piled everyone into the car and took them down to Ricky's mom's and then went with Genny about a mile and a half. I felt really good and think I could have kept going but I was having to drag the dog. Apparently she is out of shape. The second day she did better but I still had to drag her at the end. I am really sad because I had left my GPS on top of my car when I was putting everyone away on Thursday and found it scattered in a million pieces on the road on Friday. I really liked that GPS too because it would tell you distance, pace, time, etc. :( Se La Vi I suppose. It was really nice to go running again though. Usually I don't go two days in a row but this time of year you got to go when you can. I'm hoping to do a 5 mile race with my friend from work in July and maybe some 5K races. I really want to try and run an 8 minute mile by then, so I have some work to do.

Ricky is borrowing a backhoe from work this weekend to dig up stumps at his Parent's and tear down their old shed so we'll probably go over there when Joanna wakes up from her nap and watch him a little.

Oh, another funny thing, Chase keeps telling Ricky and I that Christmas is not over and then he tells us what he wants for Christmas which is tomorrow according to him... Oh Boy. He wants a helicopter and a "kem car" which is Lightning McQueen from the Cars movie.

How did you not have baby gates? I love ours... they are real life savers sometimes.. literally.
The video is super cute. Alex likes to watch the "Chase movie" a lot. I think this is the first week Alex hasnt mentioned Santa (as in- telling us he's not real) every day. We've been to a birthday party- so he's focused on his birthday now :)

Do you only have one bathroom too? And did you see the part where the tub is made for trailer homes so it's smaller than a normal tub. Our house is ridiculous. I cant wait to have a house with more than one bathroom... so when we redo it (them?) we can still use the other one.

I was referring to Chase as a puppy. That's what we call him now since he's been acting like one all the time.
