Joanna has been attempting the stairs!
She gets this far and then gets kinda nervous and just stands there and shakes and cries and has to be rescued. Genny is turning out to be such a nice dog. She's very calm for only being a year old. She still gets into trouble but for the most part she does well.
I'm starting to feel better. I felt like I was sweating all morning but started feeling a lot better in the afternoon and cleaned my house and did a bunch of laundry.
Something kinda amusing happened today. I made those fruit roll ups in my dehydrator and they turned out really yummy but Chase wouldn't even try them. He does that pretty often with stuff he hasn't had before and it's so frustrating, He doesn't believe me anymore if I tell him that it's good and he'll like it. Anyway, I was trying to get him to just taste it and finally I said, "Look, Joanna will eat it." and I gave her some and she did eat it (she will try anything). so after she ate some Chase tried it and then liked it of course. It made me think of when Christy and Christian used to tell their kids, "Uncle Ricky would eat it", to get their kids to eat stuff. You do what you can I guess. Chase actually surprised me today and ate a lot of good food. He had 3 eggs this morning! And then we had salmon, potatoes, salad and peas for dinner and he ate a lot of that too! He really liked the salmon too. Maybe he's going through a growth spurt.

I have to laugh at you wanting Chase to eat. Just wait until he is a teenager. You will think he has a hollow leg b ecause he eats so much. Joanna looks so cute climbing the stairs. Before you know it she will be walking. See you soon.
Maybe he's finally hungry. I think Grandma is right, though, about waiting till he's a teen. He'll always be hungry then.
I wish I would go through some spells of NOT being hungry!
