As you may have deduced from my last blog post, we have been battling the stomach flu here this last week. Chase started with it on Monday and Joanna just finished up with it today I think. I kept thinking it was over and then someone would throw up again. I will spare you the details but it was really gross and coming out both end for the poor little ones. Praise the lord that neither Ricky or I got it. So my week has been pretty boring and I've been couped up in the house a lot. I think Thursday I made it to the chiropractor and they must have thought I was crazy because I was talking their ears off. It was the first time I'd been out of the house all week! Yesterday i was able to "take a turn" around the property and noticed all the tulips are in bloom. we have all kinds of different colors; red, purple, yellow, orange. I'd never seen an orange tulip before but they are so pretty aren't they.
I also could not believe how big our chicks are getting. They seem to grow more every day.

anyway, I've been running around like mad the last couple days trying to clean up all the dirty (puke covered) laundry and getting everything in order. I'm hoping I get a good night's sleep tonight, I desperately need one. Last night was a little better but still not great.

Aw, the joys of motherhood- sick kids!! It makes you appreciate when they are healthy and being naughty! I have beautiful tulips, too, but haven't taken pics or posted anything. I don't think anybody reads mine anyway. Have a great vacation. Grandma
