Pictures as Promised

Joanna, getting into trouble as always:)

Ricky had kept a bunch of feathers from all the turkeys he had shot for Chase to play with so I made him an Indian.

Then he put them on my head and I just had to share these pictures because Chase took them!
Ok, so their not that great but hey he's only 3!
This is one of the projects we've been working on, we mulched around the dog kennel/chicken coup and transplanted these two trees and these other perennials.
Don't we have the best looking dog kennel/chicken coup you've ever seen?
We have a dogwood tree around the side of our house and I forgot that the blooms are a pale green, aren't they so pretty?
Does anyone know the name of this bush? I think it's so neat looking.
Well I should really go to bed, big day tomorrow with lots to do:)

Trumpet vine maybe? It looks like it should attract humingbirds!

Amy, I don't think your bush is dogwood, but related to it. A dogwood has so-called places in the petals that resemble rusty nail indentations. Hence the legend of the dogwood tree. I know there is a name for your bush but I can't remember it. You need to get Aunt Toot to name your bushes. I also don't think that is a trumpet vine. Grandma

We have those Weigela too. I absolutely love them. Your variety is called wine and roses. And they do attract humming birds. I saw one out there the other day!

I knew my fellow bloggers could help:). Interesting name, you'll have to tell me how to pronounce it, I think it's so pretty, I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a hummingbird:)
