Jenna

We're all still really enjoying our puppy, Jenna. She's almost 6 months old now and definitely housebroken so that makes me very happy. The kids just love her too and she is so good with them. Joanna now says her name...

Here they are looking at her teeth and ears. Chase was doing this for like 10 minutes and she just lay there and let him touch her teeth and gums.

Here's Chase right after he got licked...
Funny.
I've been working a lot lately so I feel kinda bad that I haven't been able to get her any exercise but she seems to be doing pretty good anyway. It's hard to go running outside right now anyway cause of all the snow. I would hate to slip on the ice or snow and get injured. I've been able to still go running 2-3 times a week though at the Rec center which is really nice. Since I work there, I don't have to pay for babysitting and then after I do my run on the treadmill the kids and I play in the gym for a while before going home. It's been very nice for a change to get out of the house, I think we were going a little stir crazy. I had the strangest urge the other day to plant something. And it's only February! I'm sure before I know it I'll be up to my elbows in dirt and pulling weeds, so I guess I should enjoy my "time off" right now.
Work has been going really well. They are very happy with how quickly I've picked things up and now leave me by myself for most of my shifts. I really enjoy it too, it's lots of fun. I've been working a lot lately though so I'm pretty tired from that, I went to bed at 8:30pm the last two nights and slept till 7:00am! Next month should be better though because they finally hired another person. I'll be happy when I can get back to some semblance of a schedule again, it's been pretty random lately.

It's so cute to hear Joanna say "Jenna". If you are working- where are you working? If you said before it "went by me"! I have spent my winter trying to catch up on crib quilts. I am ready to put the last one (#5) in the frames to quilt. I have to get it finished before I am out mowing yard or making jellies and jams. Love ya Grandma
