She has let me french braid her hair a couple times this week and she looks so cute with them in:
Last weekend our one recliner that we own broke and was beyond repair. i was so mad because it's the only piece of furniture we've ever bought new and it was such a piece of junk, we only had it 4 years and it was shot! So Thursday I went to my favorite used furniture store and found this awesome recliner for $35!
It's so comfortable and big and nice. I thought the price was missing a zero so asked at the desk and they told me that, "no, the price is right." So I took it! The kids really like it and think we bought it just for them :)
Ricky actually brought it downstairs all by himself, what a stud!
My life lately has consisted of working at the Rec center a lot and then coming home and working at home. I've been feeling pretty burned out lately and so had a hard talk with my boss about not working more than what I had agreed to when I was hired (8-12) so next month looks like it will be a little better. She's also hiring another part time person so after that person is trained it will get even better. I like the break once in a while but it was getting to be waaay to much. Tuesday my one of two days "off" this week I made 4 batches of freezer jam and 3 strawberry pies. The pies were so yummy and it felt good to put all that jam in the freezer. Our strawberries are doing really well this year and we are going to get quite a bit more out of them yet. Ricky and I picked these last night and I'm going to try and get them finished today before I have to go to work this afternoon :(
The other day Ricky found a nest of bunnies in the grass we planted in the garden:
There were six of them! The kids really liked them:
They seem to have mysteriously disappeared one night, cough, cough.
Jenna's fur/hair has been growing like crazy and her coat had gotten really thick lately so she was acting very hot all the time. Well the other day Ricky decided he was going to give her a haircut. He didn't do half bad either:
I helped him of course and she was so funny, she just lied there and let us turn her and move her any which way we needed.
My Roses have all burst into bloom and look so pretty. These roses smell so good, just like a bottle of rose scented perfume:
My baby belly continues to grow as does our little baby girl. It's starting to seem much more real after seeing her on the ultrasound last weekend. we got to see her punching and kicking and yawning, it was so awesome. Apparently she is now the size of a cantaloupe which is a little disturbing :P

the french braids are cute - you must have more girls - although the MAN/BOY picture is too cute too! Strawberries look beautiful - I am visualizing those strawberry smoothies - YUMMY!

That is a great picture of Joanna by the way. Maybe you should just tell her not to smile and then she will hold still at least. :)
I was actually pleading with her to smile and she would not- but I liked the picture anyway :) It's funny any other time it's not hard to get her to smile, just when you're holding a camera- go figure.
