More Puppies and More Parties

Saturday we had one last Christmas party to go to, the Yoder family party.  We decided Ricky would stay home with the dogs since they can't be couped up in their kennels for too long and I didn't want to risk Ricky's dad getting bit by Mishti or one of them running away on him.  So I went with all the kids.  Ricky helped me get ready and pack the kids up in the van. Katy got passed around quite a bit again :)

Much game playing was done, as is a family tradition.

And sticky buns were consumed, as is another family tradition.

It was a lot of fun even and the kids and I came home pretty exhausted in the evening.  The dogs were all alive still so Ricky did a good job taking care of them :P

Sunday night we went over to Ricky's parents' house to celebrate Ricky's mom's birthday.  Alma said that all she wanted for her birthday was to hold Katy so she held her the whole time we were there and wouldn't even let Patty hold her once :P

So I got another dog.  That's right, I have officially lost my mind and now we have 4 yorkies and 1 labradoodle, eek!  Well, the reason why I got him was because I've been having a really hard time finding studs for my girls when they are in heat so I decided to just bite the bullet and finally get my very own stud.  I think we have decided not to breed Jenna after all so I'm not totally nutso.  We just couldn't figure out a way that she could have puppies, since I don't want big puppies in the house and she can't tolerate being outside.

Anyway the male we got is 2 years old and super cute.  His name is Willie Tuff Stuff and I think it's so funny and cute I think we'll keep it as his name.

He has really pretty coloring.  I really like the silver streaks on his back.

It just so happened that when I put him in with penny I realized that she is in heat so he was put to "work" right away (I'm pretty sure he likes his job).  Gross I know, but 'tis the business.

Blondie's puppies are getting bigger every day.  They are starting to walk around a lot more and play with each other.  I love when they get to this stage.

So I got Willie on Monday and Tuesday I spent the day trying to take care of puppy paperwork and cleaning him up and trimming his hair, etc.  I went over to Patty's to fax his papers to ACA and Alma was also there.  Patty took Katy and wouldn't let her mom hold her because she hadn't gotten the chance to on Sunday. Well Alma couldn't stand it and they were practically fighting over who got to hold her, until it was determined that Katy had pooped, and then no one wanted to hold her :P

I also just have to share these cute pictures of her.  This is right after she woke up from her nap.  She always wakes up very happy.

I also keep forgetting to mention that she has been sleeping through the night for a while now.  It's such a blessing to get a full nights sleep, I wasn't expecting that for at least a year.
