Not a lot to say, but a lot of pictures

I had mentioned a little bit before about how I was working with Chase on Preschool stuff and we've still been doing that intermittently throughout the week.  I should really try to establish a better schedule for it but for now we are just kind of doing it whenever it comes to mind.  The other day he wrote his name all by himself!  I was so proud and of course made him run downstairs and show Ricky and pose for a picture :)
I like how proud he is of himself when he does something.  He can count to 15 now too.  Every morning Chase and Joanna go right for the puppies and start playing with them, they love having all the puppies to carry around.  This puppy likes to surf apparantly :P

and this one's name is Dominic:
I can't believe all the snow we've been getting lately.  Wednesday we got about 4 inches and I bundled up Chase and Joanna to go outside with me while I shoveled (Katy was napping and I had the baby monitor).  Joanna really liked eating the snow and throwing snowballs at me.  She told me at one point that she liked to eat the snow and I said, "oh yeah? what does it taste like?" and she said, "snow." haha! silly me, of course it does!
Chase really likes to help shovel and stayed out with me the whole time.
for some reason, he thought it was necessary to shovel the yard.
and Joanna thought she would "help"
I love that smile :)
Jenna really liked the snow again too and was once again running around like crazy and trying to bite my shovel as I was working.  She just laid around the whole evening, so she definitely wore herself out!
 randomnest- ha!
 making snow angels!

My azaelia bush that was not trimmed back, along with all my other plants :(

I always like how this tree looks with snow on it but the picture doesn't do it justice.
So we had a lot of fun playing in the snow Wednesday and I thought we were done shoveling for a while but was surprised to hear we were getting another storm.  Thursday morning I woke up to another foot of snow!  It had been blowing all night too so the windows looked really cool.
bent over from the weight... I hope my arborvitaes recover.
I didn't get many pictures of the snow fall today but was busy shoveling out, it was a lot more work and less play today but we got it done finally.  Chase was out helping me the whole time too.  And I do believe they are calling for snow Friday and Saturday, wow!

Somehow I missed this post. Hmmmm... Anyway, our arborvitaes never recovered form last year's snow and I had to tie them all up. It worked but they are down again this year from all the snow. I really should go out there and knock the snow off but I HATE the cold. :( I guess I'll just tie them up again in the spring.

Oh bummer... I think we're just going to cut the tops off, they were getting a bit long anyway, I suppose.
