Chase and Joanna's party... and a bunch of other stuff

We've been as busy as always here, just trying to keep our heads above water, ha ha!
I've been trying to get Katy 3 meals a day now, along with continued breastfeeding of course.  She does OK but usually just makes a giant mess.  The other night she decided to clear her tray of any pesky food and eat only her foot.  Because feet are delicious...
 NomNomNom
Umm, what? you have a problem with this?
I don't know if I had mentioned if Blondie was pregnant or not but she just had her litter of puppies last Thursday.  They are so cute and seem a lot smaller then usual... or maybe it's because I've been dealing with Labradoodle puppies for the last 3 weeks :P
And Jenna's puppies are getting so big.  They decided the other day that they would start walking around and playing with each other and being super cute.
We had some people over the other night to look at them and they couldn't decide which one they wanted.  I think I'm going to take an ad out when they are 5 weeks old.  I'm anxious to see what kind of response I will get.
Last Sunday we had the kids' birthday party. My mom and dad and Sister Christy and her clan all came earlier around 5:00.  We had burgers and venison hot dogs on the grill with salad and chips.  Everyone else started arriving around 6:30 for cake and ice cream and fun
I think there were 13 kids all together.  They had a blast running around the backyard playing together.

I was a little worried once everyone was there that we wouldn't have enough cake and ice cream.... we ended up having more then enough though.
Sheila and Mason, another friend's little boy.
I had gotten two different cakes for them.  Joanna's was a red velvet princess cake and Chase's was a spider man chocolate cake with peanut butter icing.
Blowing out the candles:
My big Ol' 5 year old!
And my little lady who is now 3!
After we ate the kids could not wait a second longer to open their presents, so we went inside and did that.
They had lots of helpers too :)
Aunt Darla and Joanna
After that we all went outside again and all the guys played wiffle ball in the field.  I didn't actually get a picture of them playing though.
Little Ariana found a stick and was very proud of herself :)
She is a couple months older then Katy.
So it was a very fun evening.  I don't think everyone left until around 10pm
The next day, Monday, a friend of mine from Michigan stopped by to see me on her way home from visiting family on the east coast.  Her son was born 4 days after Katy, so it was fun to see them interacting with each other.  He's not crawling yet so was a little unsure about this little baby who could get him and climb on him.
(notice Joanna's big tutu... that's a gift from my mom and she LOVES it)
sharing toys:
So they stayed for lunch and then a little after to visit and chat.
The rest of the week was all pretty much a blur of trying to clean up the house and taking care of Chase and Jo who got sick from too much of a good thing.  Katy has been sleeping VERY poorly and that has been rough to say the least.  I'm hoping and praying that it's because she's going to get teeth soon, and that they come soon!
We had a fun weekend together.  Ricky worked part of the day on Friday but then was home early and had Monday off for the holiday.  Saturday we worked around the house all day.  I actually took Joanna's princess jeep that we had gotten her and returned it to Walmart.  She didn't really like it and I wanted to get a trampoline instead.  Walmart is awesome and took it back without any problems, they even had people come out and help me in the store with it! So we set up the trampoline Saturday afternoon and the kids (and I) have been jumping nonstop :P  I need to remember to get some pictures of them on it.  In the evening we drove up to the Yoder family gathering and had dinner, swam and then watched really awesome fireworks.  Joanna and Katy kind of freaked out at the fireworks though so we watched inside the house.

Sunday, Chase woke up not feeling well again so we didn't end up going to church.  He went back to bed and slept until 9 and then we decided to go to Bass Pro Shop in Harrisburg for a little outing.  Ricky had gotten a $25 gift card when he renewed his NWTF (national wild turkey federation) membership and when we got there we saw that if you test drove a car they would give you a $10 gift card.  So we each took a test drive and ended up with $45 dollars in free money :)

After that we went out to lunch at Isaac's, which was delicious, and then headed home.  I got to take a really nice long nap with the girls in the afternoon.  Today we didn't really do much.  Ricky found a recipe for venison steaks that he wanted to try and they turned out really good! I also gave 8 of the puppies a bath today in the wadding pool.  I'll have to post those pictures another time :)
