Here is the video I promised with my last post. These puppies are just too much fun.
This weekend was our town fair so Friday night we went down there and walked around and the kids rode a couple rides. Saturday morning we got up bright and early for Chase's race. This was the 4th year in a row he ran in it! It's a half mile kids' fun run. They start after the adults' 5 mile race starts.
The man with the flag is a local who runs in a lot of local races and always runs holding the flag. He was leading everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance before the start. And the start... doesn't he look fast!?
And Santa Clause always brings up the rear.
Chase excited for his race :)
He actually ran all by himself this year!whoopsie, someone wasn't paying attention :P
Looking for big brotherI guess I missed getting a picture of him finishing but he did really good! He was by far the youngest kid to finish when he did, and he wasn't even sweaty, ha ha! Chase loves to run :)
Joanna thought she should have gotten a ribbon and watermelon too but alas she's not too into running. She ran a little from the van to the race table and said, "oh, I too tired" and had to be carried then :P
Chase was very proud
We waited around a little to see some of the 5 mile finishers and then went home to clean. Later in the afternoon I went back over with the kids for the candy drop. A little plane flies over the park's field and they drop candy out, then all the kids run and pick it up. After that we went to the tent and watched part of a magic show, it was so hot though and Katy was ready to eat so we didn't get to stay for the whole thing. The kids loved it though and were doing "magic tricks" for us the rest of the evening :)
This afternoon was another hot day so Dominic came over and I put the sprinkler under the trampoline for him and Chase again. I may have to do this myself sometime this week, it looks like so much fun :)
Cannonball!
One of the puppies got a little too curious about the sprinkler
And Katy just loves to be outside. She entertains herself for a while out there.
This week is supposed to be a hot one... I'm not really looking forward to it, but hoping we can find ways to stay cool... anyone have a pool and want to have us over :D

Well, it's obviously summer because neither of us have time to post or comment. :)
Yes those puppies are definitely cute. So is Chase and how he loves to run those races.
See you soon!
