This past week I gave Jenna a haircut. I'd been meaning to do it for a while so it felt good to finally get it done. She feel so soft and nice now too.
I trimmed two of the Yorkies today too. Willie looks pretty good but Blondie looks pretty awful. So bad it's funny. I need to take a picture of her before I fix it :P
Last week for school we made play-dough in the morning on Tuesday. It was actually really easy.
Cream of Tarter Playdough Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cups of plain flour
1 cups of coloured water
1/2 Tbsp. of cooking oil
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 cup of salt
1 cups of plain flour
1 cups of coloured water
1/2 Tbsp. of cooking oil
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 cup of salt
Directions:
Place all of the ingredients in a medium size or large pan. Cook slowly on medium-high and stir it until the playdough thickens. Keeps best in the fridge in plastic containers. This is simular to the traditional playdough recipe.
This recipe takes less than 10 minutes
Also in the afternoon on Tuesday I picked up another bushel of apples and did sauce again. They were really ripe apples and it went pretty fast but I was working on them until 8pm.
Joanna found these goggles at our discount grocery store for $.50... and of course wore them in the store and for the rest of the day, ha ha!
Still only 2 teeth.
Last Sunday Ricky's grandmother had passed away after a battle with Alzheimer's, she would have been 86 on the 26Th of this month. So Thursday evening we went to the viewing for a couple hours and then the funeral was Friday morning. I didn't take any pictures this time because my camera now is a bit too conspicuous but it was just like his Grandfather's funeral a couple years ago. Then in the afternoon we had to go to Ricky's parents' house sale. After that was over, none of us felt like making dinner so we all went out to Yoder's together.
Today we worked around the house. Ricky mowed and bagged up all the leaves that have started to fall. I gave the two dogs haircuts and cleaned the house. This evening we took the kids to Oregon Dairy to play at the park there... They loved it!
Mooo!
Chase loved this big spiral slide
and Joanna went down too, which I couldn't believe. She's been very anti slide for a while now.
Katy loves to swing.
They had a little herd of deer there too. Those are albino whitetails.
The kids liked this log to crawl through.
Katy was so excited about this :P
Peek-A-Boo!
