Wordless Wednesday

OK, so it's not wordless but I couldn't think of a title again and really it's mostly pictures in this one anyway, so that's my excuse for not writing a lot :P

My friend Ronda and I went on another hike last week.  The kids had a lot of fun climbing all over the boulders and hills and playing in the creek again.

She had brought one of her bulldogs last time too and I was still amazed that he was able to keep up with us like he did.

what do they say? "A face only a mother could love"? He's cute.  Katy is always pretty scared of the bulldogs, I think maybe because they look so different.

Joanna loved him though.  He was very patient with her.

Thursday, as you saw, I went and picked up our puppy Bolt.  She is so cute and starting to adjust well to her new home.  She is very playful and loves to be held.  She's not a huge fan of her kennel at night yet, hopefully she will get used to it soon. 

Friday night we decided to got to the Green Dragon swap meet and walk around there a little bit.  I found a pretty awesome $15 knock off D&G purse :P

And a $5 Flyers t-shirt for our trip to the game Saturday night!

Ricky and I had the opportunity to go to the game and sit 4th row from the glass.  We were pretty excited about it!  Chase took this picture...

The kids spent the night at Ricky's parents' house.  This is during warm ups

It was pretty awesome being that close.  You felt really involved in the game.  It was fan appreciation night so we were hoping to win something (we didn't though :P)

It was a really good game and they ended up winning 4-1. 

Having some "conversations"

We got home pretty late and then Ricky had to get up early to go get the kids.  His parents were going to go to DC Sunday and had to leave early.  The kids hadn't gotten a lot of sleep so we ended up staying home from church Sunday.  We went to the park in the afternoon and that was nice.  It ended up being really nice Sunday afternoon.  We also had another cook out and made the first S'mores of the season... with a little PB smeared on them, yum!

They are ready to go soon.  Well one could go now but the others are going to be waiting a couple more weeks, and my little baby girl is going to be here another month yet... just to be safe.

At the park:

Joanna made this "cake" the other day and put it in the fridge, because that's were you put pretend cakes.  I didn't know she had done it and was very confused when I opened the fridge a little later that day :P

Chase finished his math workbook.  We made a trip out to the educational store and got him a few more to start on, mostly just numbers ones.

And some more of Bolt, because she's too cute.  I made her a little sweater.  It's getting a little warm for doggy sweaters but it didn't take me long to make and she looks so adorable in it :)
