Chase always tries to make his pictures better than the teachers manual pictures. Of course I'm his mommy and agree with him when he says his are way better :-P
We've been doing pretty well at getting all of our school work done every day and he's doing really well too, I'm so proud of his progress!
We have one more week of his Gym and Swim program and then we'll have a little break from activities until April when he's signed up for Baseball and Ice Hockey!
So this has been going on here the last couple of days:
We are so excited and I hope this sticks!
Bolt was happy to have us back from our mini vacation in Elk county. She is such a cuddler.
Ricky had gotten this bowl for me as a anniversary gift while we were up in Elk county:
I love it and think it's so pretty! It's made from Cherry and just so rustic and pretty. I had gotten some apples to put in it but they are gone already, Joanna loves apples! I might have to get some good looking fake fruit for it, we'll see.
I made the place mat for it real quick after we got home:
This was valentine's day, we were all in a loving mood:
This girl has some awesome expressions!
Joanna helped me make some heart shaped cookies for valentine's day:
And then this card happened:
that's saying a lot, hahaha!
Katy has been very particular about her wardrobe. She actually picked out her whole outfit the other day, matching turtleneck and all!
She's really into shoes right now too, she puts shoes on immediately after getting up in the morning, which is pretty funny when she comes down stairs in just a diaper and her sparkly shoes :P
A couple weeks ago Patty and Dexter and Dominic went to Jamaica for 8 days. Chase missed Dominic terribly but they had a lot of fun and brought back all the kids t-shirts:
I guess I don't have a picture of Chase's shirt but it's spider man with dread locks and it says "Spider-Mon", so funny! Here he is crossing off the days on the calendar and counting down the days until Dominic came home:
Some crazy person let him on that table with his roller blades on! Good grief!
Chase has been REALLY into hockey lately so a few weeks ago we went to a local park and let him roll around the rink on his roller blades. The girls had fun too :)
Joanna has been running like crazy lately:
Katy's hair is getting longer but it seems only the top part. It hangs in her eyes so she can hardly see but she won't keep any clips or hair ties in or anything, so frustrating. Funny story: We were at the grocery store the other day and ran into some people we hadn't seen for a while, she told Katy, "I like your bob!" obviously referring to her haircut, and Katy responded by patting her chest and saying, "No, I Katy, I Katy." then she pointed at Joanna and said, "dat Jo" and "dat Chase". I laughed so hard :P
a couple weekends ago we went to a big birthday bash at my parents house in NJ. We took Bolt along with us and she did really good in the car and at their house!
It had snowed the night before and looked so pretty. It was super windy but we made it down safely.
Doesn't Ricky look so dapper in his driving hat? :P
We had movie night a couple weeks ago as well. Pay not attention to the mess. We had ice cream sundaes and watched the new Tin-tin movie that was really cool! Chase loved it.
I've still been crocheting like crazy too, of course. My shop has been very busy. I figured out the other day that I've made and sold 19 or 20 Beard hats since I started making them last month! It's pretty exciting! These two hats I made as a gift for a friend who lost her father unexpectedly. She has two twin boys about Katy's age. I think they turned out super cute:
I've also been making slippers like crazy too. I had a giveaway on my Facebook page the other day and that brought in a lot of traffic and I sold quite a few slippers from that. I also had time to make Katy some pink sparkly ones :P
I also make custom orders a lot. This tiara wasn't listed in my shop but was a special request and I love how this one turned out!
and these little hats are for a friend who is expecting twins (a boy and a girl)! I can't wait to see them in them!
I made two sets, this one was for a different set of twins:
So cute, right?! I better be able to see some babies in these soon!
