What's in bloom at the end of August

The planters that the kids and I did look really good still!
My hot pink Verbena is still blooming too...
My knock out roses:
And my real roses.  This one plant gets so tall in one season it is almost unbelievable.  I had trimmed this back to about the height of my knees this spring and now look at it!  It almost touches the top of the porch!  (pay no attention to my hanging basket that needs watered :P)
The black eyed susans and echinacea are still blooming as well but are starting to look a bit straggly...

This adorable, fall plant, Anemone started blooming:
Joanna has been picking off the seeds and planting them all over the place, so we may get quite a bit more of them next year, ha ha!
I got some red Salvia for behind the big rock in my front bed...
And my clematis vine is finally growing up my mailbox post.  There's a bud on it too so I'm thinking I might actually get a bloom this year!  I like the little mini-trellis that I found :)
A got two purple verbena plants to put in the front bed. I'm hoping I can get them to make it through the winter and then this front bed will look very pretty next summer.
Oh, look at this cute flower I found! :)
purple verbena:
There's dianthus at the top right corner of the rock and my pony feathers grass that I had to trim back in the center of the rock.  Next to the pole is a very pretty variety of day lily and in the front are my volunteer petunias :)
I felt very lucky that they decided to grow here, they are so pretty and cheerful!
At the back of the house, this is Blue Mist Spirea and Crape Myrtle:
I like the blue mist Spirea a lot:
And the crape Myrtle... I'll be happy when it gets much taller :P
My hostas are blooming as well:
This variety is called Rainbows End Hosta.  I love the brightly variegated leaves:
And the Liriope is blooming as well:
The blooms remind me of Nerds candy:
We have several of these scary looking spiders hanging around our backyard:
More hosta:
This is Cyclamen... It's a house plant but after reading some more about it I thought it would do well out in one of my empty flower beds.
It's underneath the arborvitae by our patio:

I liked everything you posted except the spider, although it probably was being very helpful in getting rid of bugs that might harm your beautiful flowers.
