Getting back to "normal"

The weekend after Ricky and I got back we went to French Creek S.P. with the kids.  It was a beautiful weekend and I was hoping to go on a boat ride but we got there too late and the boat rental place was closed already (we need our own canoe!).  Ricky and Chase fished a little. I relaxed in the sun while the kids played in the water finding lots of little sea shells.
We had brought a picnic dinner with us and found a lovely spot to sit and eat and have some fun...
Bolt had puppies a couple days before we left for our vacation.  My wonderfully kind friend Ronda kept her and the puppies for us while we were away.  The puppies look so good and are wandering around the kitchen and being held lots by the kids.  I was hoping one or both of the puppies would be Parti colored like Bolt but all we got was a couple white splotches.  They're still super cute though, of course :P
The first week back was a struggle for me.  We had a lot of things starting up and trying to get back to our school schedule was like pulling teeth.  Somehow we made it through though and this week has been much better.  Katy and Joanna started their gymnastics classes.  This is the first for Katy and she was adorable and loved it!  I was very proud of how well she did too!
My silly little gymnasts:
We also had our first official day of co-op.  It went really well and so far I really like this co-op!  They offer so many neat classes and are very laid back.  I just wish it was a little cheaper.  Katy even has a class at the end of the day with Joanna and they are so cute in there together.
Ricky somehow hurt his back on our vacation, he seems to be doing better now but it had gotten bad enough for us to visit the Quick Care clinic.  The kids were being super silly while we were waiting to pick up his prescription:
We had to wait a long time...
Last Friday we went to the fair in the afternoon.  The kids and I were impressed by all the farm show stuff...
We played games and rode rides, it was lots of fun.
We also got to watch a dog show that was really funny and exciting.  The kids and I laughed and laughed at all the antics :)
He had a microphone to this dog because it was "talking"... it almost sounded as if he said "hello"
This one was saying his prayers:
This one was walking circles around the other dog.  They all looked so happy to be doing their tricks :)

They had a dog show one time where we were at Knoebels and it was so cute. I kept thinking that Lily would make a good trick dog like that!
