Joanna's week as a cowgirl

The first week of August we were able to sign Joanna up for a horse camp nearby.  It was an all week camp but only half days.  She had so much fun though and they did a really good job with the little kids!  She was able to lead her pony in to the barn every morning, brush him and saddle him and everything.

This was the last day of the week and they let the girls all decorate their ponies.  I had to help her a little with tie-ing the bows to the the mane.
All prettied up:
Her ponies name was Ash and he was so nice and gentle.
 The farm's peacock:
Joanna was hoping they would let her keep her pony when camp was finished :P
After all the ponies were brushed and saddled the kids would lead them to the ring and ride for a while.  They even got to do some trotting and jumps! Here's Joanna doing a circle:
Arm circles on the ponies:
When the girls led their ponies back and were cleaning them up I snuck off to go pet the other horses, and take some pictures...

She pretty much had the best time ever that week.  Ricky and I were so happy that she was able to do that :)
Friday night we took the kids to go fishing down the road and she caught a huge bass all by herself!
Chase was disappointed his wasn't that big :P
And poor Katy didn't catch anything, despite trying the whole time, look at that face! Poor thing!
Still trying to make a sad face, but not really :P
