this is a long one. But there's pictures!

OK, I feel like I haven't updated in a while. I didn't go on the computer one time yesterday! I've been pretty busy. This week is full for me actually. We have ants in our house pretty bad right now and Chase keeps spotting them and then trying to kill them. That has nothing to do with how busy I am I just thought it was funny.
Friday, Mishti had her puppies around 11:00am. I was pretty disturbed by how much she was crying and whining so I left the house and when I got back she had had two already. She had the third one without a lot of noise so that was OK. She had two males and one female and they are all really strong and healthy looking. I have to cut their tails today. Mishti is still very protective of them right now. The other day when I let her out to go to the bathroom I was cleaning out her whelping box and Chase let her back in the house before I was finished. She almost took my hand off! She was standing over them baring her teeth and growling ferociously. I was pretty scared of her and then afterward I thought, "isn't that funny I'm scared of a 5 lb dog".

Ricky came home around 1:00 on Friday. He was still really tired and sore from working all night the day before and he said his whole crew was tired so they just quit early. I can't remember if we did anything on Friday night.
Saturday we just worked leisurely around the house all day. Ricky took Chase out for breakfast in the morning and stopped at the fire hall with him on the way home where he said Chase was afraid of the fire engines. But he got this cool hat.

I had to run errands at Shady Maple and I got caught in a downpour on the way out of the store. I looked like I had stood in the shower with all my clothes on, I got drenched! Ricky tinted his truck windows. In the evening we met Chad and Sheila at the Panda Garden (Chinese buffet) for dinner. Chase was really hungry I guess and ate a lot. He especially liked the onion rings and the next couple of dirty diapers smelled horrible! His breath smelled pretty bad that night too. I don't think he's going to have any more onion rings till he's potty trained though. Blech! It's hard to hold your breath while you change a diaper. Chad and Sheila came over our house after dinner and Chad and Ricky threw the football a while in the backyard and Sheila and I tied meadow tea to hang and dry. We then watched some of the Stanley Cup Playoffs before Chase had to go to bed. I made them take tea leaves and strawberries home with them.
Sunday we had to do children's ministry at our church and for some reason all the kids were fighting with each other the whole time. There was one instigator but it was everyone really. I don't know what was going on. We had kept Chase with us and I wish we hadn't because the kids were so rough and he was the smallest one there. We are supposed to do it again this Sunday and I really don't want to. We all came home from church and took naps for a while. In the evening we went to Ricky's parents and visited with them.
Yesterday morning I took Chase to Dominic's Kindergarten graduation! It was really cute. I was amazed how many dad were actually there though. I can't imagine Paul or Wendell giving Ricky time off to go to a kindergarten graduation. I was glad I could go though. Dominic was really happy to have us there and he was introducing Chase to all his classmates.

None of the pictures came out very well because of the lighting in the gym.

This lady with them was Dominic's teacher. She was so nice.

This woman is Dominic's "Fairy godmother" as he calls her. She came there after working an all night shift!

All the kids playing afterwards.

After the graduation I went to the chiro. and got adjusted. It was sorely needed. Last night Ricky, Chase and I went to the Reading Hospital for a tour of the maternity ward. We were really late in doing this, I know. It's pretty nice but I just don't want to go to the hospital. I think it's dumb that here in America I'm not allowed to choose where I want to give birth. The hospital seems so unnatural too. I just don't like being forced into anything, I think. Pray that God will give me peace about this. Pray also that I go into labor:) I'm definitely feeling all the aches and pains now and ready to be done with it all.

Welcome home Mom and Dad! I missed you both lots! Hope you had a great trip!

So you don't want to go to the hospital to have your baby. I had my first four at home when we lived in Big Valley. The doctor would come to the house with a nurse and it was great. So when I was expecting Toot, the doctor here in Berks said I had to go to the hospital. Well, that was solved by Toot being born in the car! Don't do that. Grandma

you can still go drug free at the hospital! And just remember that if there are any complications (especially VBAC)- everyone's chances are a lot higher. I know you dont want to think about that part, but ya never know. Jesse could have easily been a single parent to just Alex had we not gotten there when we did this last time.
You look great by the way!

Looks like you are going to have your hands full when your little one arrives. Puppies and all; is Chase anywhere near being potty trained? That will help when that's accomplished, and how's the garden progressing? Sounds like we'll have lots of babies at the Yoder get together. Congrats on the puppies. We're praying for you.
