It works wonderfully and I haven't seen any birds out there since we put it up. Our strawberries are delicious too. On Sunday we were supposed to have friends from church over in the evening so I made a brownie shortcake with our strawberries on top. They had to cancel because they were all sick so Ricky and I gave his Parents half of the cake and we ate the other half. It was so good.
I noticed the roses are in full bloom when I was out. They are so pretty but very buggy.
I also had another appointment at the birth center this morning and had a long discussion with one of the midwives about how my labor and delivery at the hospital is going to go. I feel a lot better about it now. They are so supportive of me there it's really nice. She let Chase hold the microphone to my belly to hear the baby and he thought that was great.
I cut the puppies tails last night and I think I should have done it on Monday instead. They bled a lot more than I like and it definitely hurt them more this time than when I did it with the last litter. Oh Well. They are all doing good now. They are so cute. Mishti is a lot less aggressive now too. It's funny how they are so much like a newborn baby... All they do is eat and sleep.
I thought it was funny that Debbie said I looked good because I've been feeling very large and kinda fat. I really didn't like that picture of myself either but it might be in my head because I haven't gained any weight in a month. I feel like I sometimes waddle around like a duck and I think my neighbors probably laugh at me. I would laugh at me too if I were them.
I had my last night of work last night and am so happy to be finished with that. I'm still going to be typing up notes for Dr. Parker (this takes 1 hour every other week) so I can keep getting adjusted and getting Chase and New Baby adjusted for free. It's a pretty sweet deal really. OK I think that's all for now.

Your roses are gorgeous. You should try Aunt Toots suggestions and plant onions around the roses to keep the aphids off.
Where did you get one of those owls? We need that. We have a net over our stawberries but the birds still get to the ones on the edge and the other day there was a bird all tangled up under the net and Christian had to untangle him and let him free.
Ricky's dad had the owl from a while ago. I'm not sure where you would find them. Ricky says its the eyes that scare the birds. He said that is how a lot of animals identify predators is by their eyes, so if a deer is looking at you in the woods you should just squint. I don't know if that's true or not.
I think I need an owl too. Birds almost destroyed my hanging tomato plants and pecked at a couple of the hanging strawberry plants. It's getting to be a battle. Your roses look great. If you can't plant onions around the roses you can also spray them with a hose. It will knock them off. Last year I used a spray of Solumel & water. Solumel is a Melaleuca product. I also use that solution to spray on myself to keep the gnats and mosquitos off me when I'm in the garden. If you are interested I can get you more info on it. Good luck.
P.S. All very pregnant women waddle, it goes with the territory!
