Lots of Pictures!!!!

This post is very long but there are lots of pictures.
So we've been pretty busy around here lately. I was so thankful to find my camera the other day. Yikes! We must have looked for it for 3 hours the one night and then an hour the next day. I think a little boogie put it in the trash. It was covered in who knows what when Ricky pulled it out but I wiped it off and cleaned it up and it still works! Whew!
Friday, I exercised in the morning and did laundry the rest of the day. Oh, I cleaned my house again too. In the evening we went with Chad and Sheila to the Panda Garden, a Chinese buffet that they love. I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food but they have a lot to choose from so I can usually find something to eat. After we were done eating we went to the petting zoo that was close by and walked around there a little bit. We came home and had some coffee and chatted for a little bit.
Saturday, we had to get up early to meet Ricky's family at Shady Maple for breakfast. We met at 7:30am.
I got my coffee right away. Dexter's niece from the Cayman Islands was staying with them during her summer vacation and just left to go home on Saturday so that is why we all went out to eat. She is so nice and fun to be around. I hope she can come to visit again soon.
She doesn't like to have her picture taken so I was happy we got this nice one of her smiling so sweetly but then Ricky looks funny.
Dominic and Chase were so happy to see each other again, and happy to see Grandpa too.
We got home and right after we did the lady who is buying the two male puppies came with her niece to visit them. They actually stayed a long time too. The puppies are getting so cute and very friendly. They are 10 weeks old now. She is going to take them home in September sometime.
Ricky started scraping the second garage door. Hopefully we can finish that one next weekend.

He also decided to tear down the Gazebo on Saturday. It was nice to sit there and everything but it was actually pretty dangerous because it was rotting and not sturdy at all. I'm not sure why but he also took the bridge part up so now there is a hole in the ground where we need to walk. I guess he is planning on filling it in but didn't have time this weekend. Here is a before and after picture of it.
I told Ricky maybe he could straighten out the fence there. I think that would look a lot better but he thinks it sounds like too much work. He's probably right but I might get my way this time :)
In the afternoon Rochelle (Dexter's niece) and her mom, Abi-gayle, and Dominic came to see us a little bit and stayed for about an hour. We always have fun showing people our house and garden and "livestock". Rochelle and Abi-gayle loved the little girl puppy and did not want to put her back. Rochelle thinks we should name the puppy Lola or Bella. I don't know why we can't decide. I think I will wait until the survey expires and will go with the winning name. Don't forget to vote for your favorite.
Later in the day I told the neighbor kids they could come into our yard and play with Chase. They have a 4 year old boy (Tristan) and a 2 year old girl (Sky). Chase really likes Sky and always wants to run into their yard and play. They had a lot of fun playing. I sat on the patio and had to nurse Joanna a little bit and Sky thought it was really neat. Tristan was also trying to look but I didn't know if he should or not so I was keeping covered up but he could hear her nursing. Ricky came walking over and Tristan yelled, "Wick, the baby is eating Amy!" Haha that made me laugh. Tristan also helped me pick tomatoes on Saturday night.
Don't they look good? I'm going to make tomato sauce with these and then the next batch I will try ketchup.
Sunday, we had a guest speaker, Dave Harvey. I believe he is from the Cherry Hill, NJ church. Ricky ushered again, so we had to get there earlier. We were pretty tired when we got home and all took naps. When Joanna and I woke up in the afternoon we drove out to French Creek State park. It was pretty buggy out so we didn't stay too long but it was fun to walk around there. Chase likes to throw rocks and sticks in the water.
He would do that all day if we let him. He also had a blast running on the trails.
Joanna was so happy and smiley all day today. She was awake a lot more too. It's nice to see her smile and coo at you. I got a really good one of her smiling.
Isn't she sooo cute?!
So I was talking about how my hanging baskets like the sun the other day. That is wrong, they are getting scorched! :( I think I might need to throw them out. I don't think they are going to make a come back.
However the Allysum that I planted in the spring really likes the sun and started flowering again.
It actually looks better than in this picture. I think that is all for now. I'm sure I forgot something though. I should have gone to bed, but look what you've done to me, staying up late so I can blog! If blogging is wrong, I don't want to be right.

I definitely did not have time to sit here and read all this- but I did. And it was worth it. :)
I'm so glad you found your camera! You always have fun pictures. And everyone loves to see your beautiful family.
I'm jealous of your tomatoes... I think I need to hit up a farmers market soon.

Amy, I told you before but I'll tell you again. I'm so proud of you doing canning and freezing. How are your grapes. My one vine will soon be ready. Joanna is so cute. She is developing a personality. I must get to work. I have Laurel nursing home this afternoon. Grandma

Just wanted to let you know that Grace and Aiden both voted for "Nickle" no prompting from me. Naomi voted for "doggy". :) the computer won't let me put another vote in for them so I just though I would tell you. Love the new background!

Well, since Christy is entering extra votes, I'll let you know that Dad wanted to vote for Nickel, but we (I) had already voted.

Love,
Mom

I love the looks of all those tomatoes. I'm definitely jealous. I was ready to pick one ear of corn tonight but got sidetracked, will try tomorrow night. Looks like you'll soon have matching garage doors. Yeah!! As for puppy names - I like Lola. And what are you going to do for a gazebo now? Have Ricky build another one? Hmmmm, another project!?!
