Especially the last few mornings, they have been so nice and cool with a lovely breeze.
I especially love fall mornings. We're getting there. However if you stop by before noon I may be embarrassed that I am not properly dressed or showered yet. Especially on Monday mornings when I have no clean clothes because they are all piled in the basement waiting to be washed.
I was thinking I might try and hang it out today. I haven't done that since Joanna was born but I think I would be OK to hang it out now. I was hoping to start jogging this week.
Ricky got home at noon on Friday. That was so nice. He started working on stripping and scraping the garage doors.
He is going to repaint them maroon then. They were a baby blue color underneath. Isn't that weird? They'll look nice when he's finished. They were peeling and cracking really bad. Saturday I continued my weeding around the house. It definitely takes a while when you need to keep stopping to check on a little baby. But she is so cute...
I finally got a picture of her smiling. Yeah! She has been smiling and cooing a lot the last couple days. I think she makes a lot more noise than Chase ever did. I don't remember him ever making noise. Maybe he did and I just don't remember but he is still pretty quite. They look so much alike though. I look at Joanna and think she looks exactly like Chase did.

this is him around the same age. Saturday night I made venison chops in the crock pot(yum) and potato skins with potatoes from our garden. They were so good!
Yesterday we drove up to Cabela's so Ricky could get some things to prepare for hunting in the fall. We were there walking around about an hour and a half. I had packed our lunches so when we were done we all (even Jo-Jo) ate in the car before we left. We got Chase this little pop-gun that he really likes.
In the afternoon Ricky decided that he wanted to play wiffle ball so he called Chad and they rounded up the gang.
I wanted to play but I had to wait at home till Chase woke up from his nap so I got there late and they had already started. But I went with Chase and played at the park a little bit and we had fun watching them play. Afterward we went to Chad and Sheila's house for drinks and to hang out a little. We came home around 8:00pm and put Chase to bed (he seems to be doing a little better with the earlier bed time) and then watched the WHOLE Phillies game. It went till 11:00pm. I had wanted to go to bed earlier but Joanna was awake that whole time. It was a good game though so I guess it was OK. I could hardly keep my eyes open though.
Since we cut down that tree we get a lot more sun on our front porch. My hanging baskets really like it. I have to water them a lot more often now. It used to be once a week, now it's every couple days. They are really pretty though.

That's a great picture of Joanna. Can you send it to me so I can print it? And you're right, she is very cute and looks like Chase.
Love you,
Mom
You have such cute kids. I love Joanna's smile and yes, she does look like Chase. I love reading the blogs and always comment because I know I like to know when people read mine. Talk to you later. Grandma
Good job on bringing your hanging baskets back to life. They're beautiful. You must have a green thumb like some other people I know!
Love,
Mom
Amy, your baskets are beautiful. I don't have any baskets because I'm not good with watering them. Yes, Joanna and Chase do look a lot alike. I love the pix with the lizard! That is too cute. I really get a charge out of you guys playing wiffle ball and the like. Glad you can still have fun and get exercise. Oh how I remember the mounds of laundry, I used to do laundry every day or else it would get out of hand. Now I can go for a week. Oh happy day! Boy Ricky sure does seem to stay busy at home, he's always working on some project, isn't he? Your garage door will look good when it's done. Good to hear from you again. Keep it up.
