Canis Majoris

My Pastor just e-mailed this video as a follow up to his sermon. If you have a minute it is so powerful. It really helps to put things in perspective for you. We can get so caught up in this life and our own vain pursuits but we are such a little speck and the only thing that really matters or lasts is shining for God. This is an amazing video... Thank you Lord for loving me.

It is pretty scary sometimes to think how much we esteem ourselves. Even God, as much as He loves us, says in quite a few Scriptures that we are but dust.

It is good to be reminded of our insignificance - apart from God we can do nothing. We are nothing - in Him we live and breathe and have our being!

Thanks for sharing, Amy.

Love,
Mom

After listening to that -there mixed emotions. I know I'm unworthy and yet our great God loved us so much He died to save us. You're right we are small and insignificant and yet God has crowned us with love. The promises in the Bible sustain me and keep me going. He is my all in all!

Yes - it's a paradox. Even though I am just dust, I am still the crowning glory of God's creation. He loves me infinitely more than the biggest star in the universe! Mind boggling to think about. What a great and awesome God!
