Man, I have been busy this week. Monday I was really happy with all of the things I was able to accomplish. I cleaned my windows and sills inside and out, put the screens up, and locked all the windows to prepare for winter. It was such a nice feeling when I looked out the windows and saw the bueatiful scenery and not dirt. I think I got most everything on my list done this week (and then some). I wasn't able to finish weeding because it was so dry. I'm hoping Monday will be a nice day for it. I've baked a few batches of cookies this week. I made butterscotch oatmeal and peanut butter, chocolate oatmeal.
Friday we all went with Ricky to the eye doctor. The people there were amazed by Ricky's eyes. He is legally blind in one eye and has perfect vision in the other. Wierd. I'll have to sneak a picture of him in his glasses, when he gets them, for you. Friday night Ricky went out with Chase and I went with Jojo to a Pampered Chef party. It was the first one I had ever been to. I got home at 8:40pm and Ricky was still not home. Chase didn't go to bed till 9:20pm last night! He did sleep in a little this morning though.
This morning I decided to do more applesauce since it was yucky outside. I went to a local farm market and got a basket of Crispin apples for $11. They were really yummy, I didn't have to add sugar to them this time. I was hoping for Honeycrisps after Meggan mentioned them, but alas they are out of season.
I had to get apple cider for Chase too. He loves that stuff.
It made 7 quart jars of yummy applesauce. While I was waiting on the apples to cook down I spackeled all the holes in the walls. I think I am soon ready to paint, Yeah! I think that's all I wanted to say, I dunno.

Well, aren't you the "busy beaver"! It's a great feeling to get things accomplished though, isn't it? I am hoping to add some to my blog next week- maybe! Have you used any of the freezer boxes, I gave you? I also made apple sauce, but I froze mine in pint containers. My apples were much cheaper then yours! I got them from Uncle Sam- for free.

Homemade applesauce - it sounds so good. There is just no comparison to it. Maybe I should get some from the orchard and make sauce. I got some for eating and they were delicious. The cookies sound good too, I want to do some desserts to freeze and take with us when we go to the Poconos with Mark & his buddies. So much to be done...

Looks yummy! The last time I made Applesauce was with Grandma when she came out for a visit. You sure do stay busy!
