We haven't been doing a whole lot around here since I last posted. Ricky left Thursday night to go hunting with Chad again and got home Saturday around 1:00pm. I was being pretty gloomy about him being gone. I think some of it had to do with the weather too but I had a hard time shaking my funk. I had a lot of things to do to occupy my time though. I cleaned and sorted and organized all of our closets in the house. I also went out and got 3 big storage bins and organized all the kids old clothes into them and put them away for later. that was a lot of work. I found a lot of things I thought we had lost in the move too so that was good. I also cleaned my whole house again. It doesn't take that long once you start but it's a matter of doing it, ya know. I actually like cleaning my house though because Chase likes to help and it's so cute. I keep thinking I need to get him a vacuum that actually picks stuff up so he can really help.
Yesterday, Patty had some sort of deaf training seminar to go to and Dexter was working in Reading so I kept Dominic all day. He got here a little after 8:00am and Dexter came to get him around 4:00pm. He and Chase had a lot of fun of course. They spent a couple hours in the morning coloring and stamping!
We also went to Walmart in the morning to get another gallon of paint. That was quite an adventure with 3 kids and a packed Saturday morning in Walmart! Yikes. I got the color for the living room and hallway, it's called Dulche de Leche, yummy. I know what I want for our bedroom but am still undecided about the dining room, so I need to think about that one a little more. I also got the kids a movie to watch in the afternoon after nap time. They watched Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. It was a good movie but they lost interest in it pretty quickly and were running around wrestling with each other. I always like when Dominic can come and hang out with us, though, so that was nice.
This morning we were nowhere near ready to leave for church when we were supposed to. we need to leave at 9:30 to get there at 10:00 and this morning at 9:30 I still had to dry my hair, get both kids dressed and Ricky hadn't even showered yet! I don't know how this keeps happening to us. We were pretty upset with ourselves. We went to Cabela's and walked around there a while. we got Chase some new Crocs (Christy talked me into it) and I got a new pink Nalgene (Tommy would really like it). We ate lunch at Burger King (you know, that health food restaurant) and then came home and watched those pathetic Eagles. Actually I took a nap and Ricky slept downstairs while the game was on. Chase must have been really tired because he took a 3 hour nap today! I think that's all for now. I want to try and start painting the living room this week but I might have to do it one wall at a time.

Rod agrees with you about those pathetic Eagles, he was moaning and talking to the TV all afternoon. I was back there with him for a while, but couldn't take it and left.
I'm glad I didn't HAVE to watch the Eagles. I spent the afternoon with Martha. We gamed all afternoon. I had taken some ice cream along and about 4 P.M. we had some ice cream and pretzels and then gamed some more. I came home before 8.
you're good inspiration b/c i plan to clean the house today too. that's so nice of ricky's company to take the formen and wives out to eat a few times a year. what a treat!
