Friday I did a really quick update before Ricky and I had to leave for his work Christmas dinner, so I didn't really get a chance to mention what we've been up to. Friday Ricky had off all day so first thing in the morning we took the kids over to Ricky's mom's house and went out to eat, just the two of us. We practically skipped out of Ricky's parent's house. It was so nice to go out and be with each other and not worry about "parenting" for an hour. The rest of the day we worked together on doing the dining room floor which, as you know, turned out marvelously. Friday evening we went, with the kids, to Ricky's work Christmas dinner at Shady Maple. That was fun.
Saturday Ricky left really early in the morning and drove up to NY to go hunting. I thought he was going to spend the night there and hunt Sunday as well but was surprised to see him peering in the door at me at 7:00pm on Saturday evening. Apparently there was a lot of snow all over up there and the visibility was not great for hunting (plus, I think he missed us), so he came home early.
This afternoon Dominic came over for a couple hours. It was snowing and Ricky had come home early from work so we all went out to play in the snow for a little bit.
We were trying to have Dominic get the eggs for us but he was scared of the chickens so Chase had at it:)
Patty came to get him right as we were sitting down to eat dinner and Dominic was so sad because he had wanted to eat with us. I told her that he could stay, if it was ok with her, and I would walk him home afterward. So we all ate dinner (scrapple and eggs, our new favorite dinner) and then Chase and I walked Dominic home in the snow. I wanted to show you a picture of Joanna on her hands and knees. She's been doing this a lot lately and rocking back and forth.
She's not very happy with me here but you get the idea.
And here's my other big baby:) He's so funny. I can't believe that Christmas is next week already. I am not ready for it at all. I have most of the gifts that I need but I still need to wrap them and get two more things and make food for all our gatherings, etc. hopefully I can be productive this week and not procrastinate like I love to do.

Hey,
We didn't get any snow here at all, other than some flurries and random flakes.
And you procrastinate? What are you talking about? You are as productive as all my children.
Love,
Mom
The snow seems so slushy and heavy and I am dreading all those snowboots and the mud. Your floor looks so nice and I am so glad you got to go on a date. It is fun to go out alone isn't it?
