I've been pretty lazy the last couple days. I haven't done anything but the necessities but I don't feel bad about it at all. The poor little kiddos are sick right now. Chase has it the worst and is really snotty and tired. So far I feel pretty good so I'm hoping I don't get it (I don't have time to be sick). We stayed home from church on Sunday since Chase was sick and we didn't want him to share with other kids. Instead we made our gingerbread house. Chase was so funny, he was eating all the candy instead of putting it on the house. We did get him to stop and put some on the house eventually.

Ricky assembled the house and then Chase and I decorated.
(admiring our work)
we have a new little friend in the house right now.
Please excuse her "bedhead". This is Penny. she is supposed to be pregnant and due in the middle of January so we had to bring her in the house for her to get used to and comfortable with being in the house. Unfortunately she is not housebroken so I have to be careful when I walk into the kitchen. She is so cute though, we've been having trouble keeping Chase away from her. I already have someone on a waiting list for puppies too so hopefully she is pregnant. it's hard to tell until their around 5-6 weeks. I have a lot of things I need to do today, of course. I was thinking about getting a gallon of paint for the dining room. Ricky thinks I should paint that before he puts down the new floor. I really need to go get adjusted too. My back has been hurting so bad for over a week now but I just haven't had the time to get over there:( I also wanted to make pumkin bread and I need to type up notes for Dr. P again.

I can't believe how artistic you and Ricky are- making a gingerbread house. Or should I say graham cracker? It looks really nice. I hope you all feel better by Friday night. You don't want to miss the Wexcon dinner at Shady Maple! See you then, I hope.
Very nice job on the floor Ricky (and Amy). I can't wait to see it.
Dad
Super cute house! I'll show Alex tomorrow... he will love it too. And probably talk about it all day :)
Ok- I have to ask. How do you know if your tiny little dogs are pregnant? Do you have to take them to the vet to get a little ultrasound? Do you dip a pregnancy test in the pee on the floor (since she's not house broken yet)?
K- enough with questions... I should go to bed :)
