So we finished the floor in the living room. It looks so nice. I tried to help as much as I could in between feedings, nap times, lunchtimes, potty breaks and everything else that goes along with a 2 year old and a baby.
We finished laying it all down last night at 8:00pm. Ricky spent most of the day today working on doing the trim and baseboard. I'm not sure when we are going to be able to do the dining room but I don't think it will take as much time as the living room did.
This afternoon, Chase and I decorated our little Christmas tree.
I got a little gingerbread house kit when I was at the store today for us to do but I didn't have time to do it today. Chase was walking all around the house with the box because he wanted to put it together. I think we'll do that tomorrow after church. We got a little dusting of snow here tonight which I was really excited about. I think it's done now though. we left the house a little after 5:00pm to go to the Eberly family Christmas party. The first of 6 Christmas things we have to go to this month! It was a lot of fun though. Joanna was swarmed when we got there and kept getting passed around from person to person. She did pretty good until the end when she was tired and hungry and had had enough of all the noise.

The women trying to get all the food organized.

We had subs and soup. There was a lot of other good food as well. I'm still stuffed. Patty and Ricky's cousin, Tina, had organized the whole gathering. Patty had planned a bunch of games for the kids to play. One of them was a pinata. All the kids got 2 turns at it until it broke open.

Dexter helped Chase get candy. I don't think he would have gotten any otherwise because he was picking them up one at a time and carefully putting them into his bag:) He had a blast though. Anyway, I think that's all, I need to go to bed, I wanted to show you my beautiful living room though.

The floor looks great! Very nice! Where did you have that family gathering? We could have used a whole gym for our family.... and definitely games for the kids!

Amy,
I've been looking at your photos for a few months now and decided to come out of hiding. YOur new floors look wonderful. I was so happy when Joel put some in our home a year ago. I love them. Hope to see you soon, if we can all get better here.
