Last night I was wondering why my house is such a mess. Well here is the reason...
Yes, Christmas has come a few weeks early to our household. Since Ricky shot his buck the very first day of his whole week off, he has been kind of bored and wanted a project to work on. Yesterday morning we drove out to a Lumber Liquidators in Harrisburg and got this laminate wood floor for .59cents a square foot! We got enough for the living room and the dining room. So yesterday afternoon we moved all the furniture to one side and ripped up the really gross pink carpet.

Ricky started putting it down this morning.
It looks so nice and I am really excited to have it done. So that is why my house is a mess right now, of course I guess that doesn't really explain the basement being a mess, but that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

How exciting! You thought you weren't going to get a new floor until next year sometime!
How providential that Ricky got his deer the first day.
Love,
Mom
Isn't it nice that Ricky wanted something to do? Will he get it all done this week, since it will be back to work on Monday? Poor me, I didn't have off. Since I do the payroll the following week, I had to work. Sandy wanted to get the payroll done on Tuesday, so I worked ten hours. Then about half a day on Wednesday to get reports out to the engineers. I don't know about this week. Some guys might want vacation this week, so I will have that to do.
How exciting!!! He gets a buck and you get new floors...what a week :) We have laminate floors in out living room and dining room too and we love them...Can't wait to see the finished pictures! God Bless...Shannon
Yay! That's so exciting! What fun.
That's awesome. I made some all- natural floor cleaner last week that I like for mine. I'll give the recipe if you need it :)
Will you post pictures when it's all done?
We finished laying down the living room this evening at 8:00pm. we just need to do the trim and baseboard in there and it's finished. I think we should be able to finish the living room this weekend but I think the dining room will be a little longer than that. I would take that recipe from you deb, thanks:)
