Ricky's mom came over in the morning to stay with the kids while I ran to the store for some "arsenal". The humidifier seemed to help him breath better. He had been eating vitamin C tablets and candied ginger Monday really well and then Tuesday he decided he didn't want it anymore. so I've been sneaking liquid ginger into his OJ. As of Wednesday he didn't have a fever but his cough is lingering and pretty horrible. Plus his nose is leaking like a sieve. Ricky said if you could sell snot we would be millionaires, cause Joanna is now leaking it as well. She's not as bad as Chase was but her eyes are pussy and she's a little bit congested. I've been eating vitamin C like crazy and taking oregano oil in the hope that she will get a little bit of it as well. It seems to be working so far. Anyway, sorry about all the "snot" references but that is my life this week. Here's a video of Christmas when he was feeling well. Sorry it's so shaky at some spots.
Ricky's had off of work a lot lately because of the holidays so he decided to do some rearranging and reorganizing of his hunting stuff (which there is a lot of). He decided to move all his stuff into one area in the basement and out of the little room under the bathroom. so I got my laundry chute back and am really happy about that, that will make my life a little easier. Right now he is building himself a little work space and a couple shelves so he can store his turkey calls (which he collects and makes) and work on his guns and whatnot.

He's doing a very nice job and I am always so impressed with his ingenuity. The changing table had been in our living room, so we moved that downstairs into that tiny room under the bathroom and then moved Jojo's crib into the living room. It was time to move her out of our room and I didn't really want to move her upstairs right now since she is still not "night weened" and I don't want to go climbing up the stairs in the middle of the night to nurse her. So we have to see how it goes having her in the living room. Last night was the first for it and she seemed to do ok, but it is hard to tell since she is sick.
My mom got me a dehydrator for Christmas and we decided to try it out today and make deer jerky. It still has 6 hours to go but it already smells really good.
I keep forgetting to mention that our dog, Penny, is definitely preggers. She's due in a week or two. This is her first litter so I hope she does well and we are able to sell all the puppies. They always make me nervous when they are in labour and I always think they are dying.

I am sorry that the kiddies are both sick, that is no fun! I hope you all feel better soon.
Chase looks so sad! I hope everybody feels better soon. Danica was throwing up last night and Alex has had a nasty cold for a while (which means it's irritating his asthma too). Snot has taken over our lives too.
Alex has that firetruck too! Did it come with a Little People dvd? I dont even know if Alex's did, but Danica got the doll house for Christmas this year and it had a dvd with it- so cute.
Penny looks so tiny! I hope everything goes well with her labor. Pictures!!
I am sorry to hear the kiddos are sick too. We've been fighting off some viruses too. Hope you are better soon...Love ya...Shannon
