There's a Polar Bear
I don't know if I mentioned it but last weekend, I had felt like I was cleaning up pee all the time. From Friday to Sunday Chase and Genny had 12-14 accidents in the house! It was really annoying and I went through a lot of paper towels and Swiffer cleaning pads. Anyway since Monday, neither one of them has had a single accident. Genny even slept out of her kennel last night and didn't go outside until 7:30 this morning and Ricky usually lets her out at 5:00am. anyway, I don't really have a point to this story, I just thought it was weird, Ricky said he thinks they were conspiring against us. maybe so, maybe it was a full moon last weekend, I have no idea, I'm just glad I haven't had to clean up any pee this week.
Tuesday, My parents decided to come up and visit us. They got here around 11:30 and we ate lunch and then I put the kids down for their naps. My mom and I worked on her blog a little bit and my dad read a book until they woke up. It was still really cold on Tuesday but we wanted to go do something so I thought it would be nice to go drive to Middle Creek and just look at the snow geese from the car. I knew how to get there but mom and dad didn't believe me;) so dad found directions online and off we went. Well, the directions that he found were not for where we wanted to go but we ended up near another park that Ricky had worked at in Shillington so we walked around there a while and it was very nice. It turned out to be a happy accident. I was thinking, that is one things that I really like about my family, we don't get all upset if things don't go the way we had planned or expected. We enjoy the moment we are in, I remember many times when my dad took the "scenic route"(got lost) and it turned out to be something memorable because we choose to enjoy it, well maybe not all of us enjoyed it (you know who you are;) ).
Anyway, we got home and Ricky was home early from work so mom and I started dinner. I made chicken quesadillas (requested by Ricky) and we also had corn and salad. Mom brought some really yummy muffins and we were all stuffed and satisfied. It was so nice to have them here for a little while. Joanna was laughing and smiling at my Mom all day and Chase was loving all the attention from my Dad. I forgot to take any pictures though! The one above I stole from my Mom.

You know I was thinking, I don't know what she is talking about. I don't think she is talking about me. That certainly wouldn't be the way I would normally describe myself. Then I got to the bottom of that paragraph and realized, oh, she wasn't talking about me after all.
Love you too. :)
haha- funny:)
I can't imagine C not being happy with whatever came down the pike!?! It's sometimes funny to think back to when you all were younger, then I think back to when I was younger too, and I don't think it's funny anymore. We all change, hopefully it's for the better.
