The healing power of the Sun

I have not felt like doing a whole lot of anything lately. I did not want to blog, did not want to clean my house, did not want to take pictures, did not want to do anything but sleep. Alas, that was the one thing I could not do. I seem to remember a time when I wanted to stay up all night because it was "cool", no... it's not cool... definitely, not cool. The past 4 nights or so Joanna has been up every 1/2 hour crying because she is sick. I tried telling her, "I don't think crying is going to help you get better faster. I bet if you would just sleep you could get better, please, sleep, please." she doesn't think I'm telling the truth. doesn't she look suspicious?
Ricky always calls her a little boy when I put this sleeper on her. It's a hand-me down from Chase. I just looked at that picture and thought it could be a subliminal advertisement for Pampers baby wipes, although that is not what is in the container. guess... if you guessed walmart's parent's choice, you were right. haha
Anyway, the kids are sick this week. Chase has been fine, he has a pretty bad cough and a really runny nose but other than that he's been his same old self. Joanna on the other hand, the poor thing, has been miserable. she had a fever for a couple days and has the cough and runny nose that Chase has. I think she's working on teeth on the bottom but she won't let me look.
Monday, I took everyone to get adjusted in the hopes that it would speed recovery and lead to a better night's sleep... it didn't. On the way hope I stopped at the "stud farm" to see about getting a studly male for Mishti. She's been begging to go out so I thought I'd see if I could set her up on a blind date, I hope she doesn't behave herself. I'm taking her on Saturday. I've been thinking about putting an add in the paper to sell Abbi. She's the newest little yorkie that we kept and I think she is just too small to breed. So I might just put an add in the paper and see if I get any bites.
Tuesday, the cable man came and took our cable box away. we still get cable, just not as much now. yes, I admit it, we watch TV. it was getting pretty expensive though so we downgraded, we don't watch that much in the summer anyway. Poor Ricky doesn't get his hunting channels anymore though. I do feel bad for that. Chase, Joanna and I spent the rest of the day outside. It was so beautiful yesterday, I finally got all my trimming picked up and transplanted 3 rose bushes and a butterfly bush to the front of the house. I still can't decide what to do with the front porch area. I sat for a while looking at it trying to decide. There are a couple things I'm thinking of, maybe I need to stew on it more. I kind of think I need a big rock right there (in honor of you, mom.) Being outside all day really helped me feel better though, the sun felt so good on my glaringly white arms. In the afternoon, Dominic got off the bus at our house. I thought Dexter was coming to pick him up after work so he wasn't going to eat dinner with us but he didn't come get him until 7:00pm. Oops, we had to scrounge to have enough food for him, I try to make only enough for us so I don't have leftovers. we sure didn't have leftovers, some people may have still been hungry:( oh well.
I guess I should get going; exercise, shower, get food, do laundry, go to sleep, repeat.

Hey, it's good to hear from you again. I didn't have my computer on until this evening. I was working hard at John's quilt. With spring- just around the corner, I need to finish it. Wendell stopped in after work to help me roll it, so I can quilt again as far as I can reach. I trimmed my grape vines last week. Poor Joanna looks so sick. I bet her teeth are bothering her. Sandy's baby has two already and she tries to chew on everything.
