The sprout is back! And now it has a twin. There hasn't been that much to report on this week. Every day Joanna has been doing better and better. Tuesday afternoon I took her to the doctor to make sure she was ok since it seemed like she was sick for so long. He couldn't find anything "wrong" with her but prescribed an antibiotic anyway. I decided not to take his advice and was really glad that I did because the next day she was obviously feeling more like herself again and had slept very well the night before. A couple weeks ago I decided to start sharing my bed with Joanna when she wakes up at night. I had been resisting it for a while because I am selfish and really like my space when I'm sleeping. Also I get pretty hot at night and Joanna is like a little furnace and sweats really badly and makes it even worse. But I couldn't take it anymore and finally gave in, so now I wake up in the morning with a sweat soaked arm but a little more rested. This too shall pass, as my mom likes to remind me.
she even felt well enough to exercises with me! :)
Thursday I went and picked up Mishti from the stud farm. It's nice to have her back and not have to worry about her running away anymore. The ants are back in my house, it must be spring! I hate ants in the house, they are so gross! I had to set out the Terro again.
I walked to the park a couple days last week with Chase, Joanna and Dominic and did a bunch of yard work as well. this evening I was taking a little nap when Ricky woke me up to tell me that there was a tornado warning for our area so we all went out and sat on our porch and waited for the storm to come.
Chase was playing in the wash basket like this for a while. Tuesday I have to go to the dentist to get the rest of my wisdom teeth pulled and 3 cavities filled so if you think of me, pray for me. I'm already nervous about it.

Glad you're back and Joanna is feeling better. I was down at Martha's today and daughter called to let her know there was a tornado coming. We watched and it blew and poured rain, but that was it. Later her daughter called again and said they had hail at their place and the ground was covered with it. I checked my rain gauge when I got home and we had about .4 of an inch. Linda lives on the other side of Shoey.
I love how there were threats of tornadoes and you guys went to the porch :) - we sat at the windows and I took video. We had 1" sized hail blowing sideways! We had no clue there was tornado threats though - I felt so dumb afterwards... great parenting, huh? instead of heading to the basement with the kids, we head to the windows with the camera. We DID enjoy witnessing God's power though! and conversations about how much worse the plague of hail in the Bible must have been - how grateful we were for our shelter! ~ I'll be praying for Tuesday! oh my, wisdom teeth AND cavities... what will you eat!?!?
I have been mulling this over for a while now and finally figured out what you meant by tuning in Tokyo. At least I think I do. :)
Haha! I was wondering if anyone would get that. You can't really see her sprouts very well in the picture so I understand the confusion but I thought the little pigtails looked so funny.
