Quick Update

I thought I should let you know how I was doing after my dentist appointment. My parents came up yesterday around 1:00pm and my appointment was at 2:00. So my mom stayed home with the kids and my dad drove me to the dreaded appointment. I'm such a baby about going to the dentist, I know I'm not the only one but I hate having stuff done to my teeth. So I had to have 3 cavities drilled and filled, that part took the longest, like an hour, they gave me nitrous so I was more relaxed. The nitrous definitely helps but it still was so yucky. Anyway after they finished with the cavities they yanked out the rest of my wisdom teeth. I had had one pulled a couple years ago after I had Chase but was putting off getting the rest taken care of for a while. I figured while I was all numbed up they could just get it all over with. We got home around 4:00pm and Joanna had done well with mom but was definitely clinging to me the rest of the night. My gums didn't hurt too bad but I didn't eat anything the rest of the night and kept icing them and taking extra strength Tylenol. I woke up this morning pretty week from not eating and really dizzy. I made myself eggs quick though and started feeling better. It's amazing how quickly the mouth heals because I feel pretty good now and haven't taken anything for pain all day. It's such a relief to have them out and gone. The dentist showed me the teeth afterward and they were definitely bad, the one was crumbling in his hand! Thankfully none of them had to be cut out and none of them broke while he was taking them out.
The ad for Abbi came out in the paper this morning so I have been dealing with calls about her all day. First thing this morning I received a call from a lady who was really rude and mean so I decided to just ignore it and move on. This afternoon an older couple came over to look at her and eventually decided to wait until Misti has her litter but they were here for a while trying to decide. I was going to write down their number so I could call them later and asked the man to tell me what it was and he didn't answer, I looked up at him and he was slumped on the counter and moaning and looked like he was having a heart attack! He wasn't responding to me or his wife and I didn't know what to do, I was so worried for him. His wife and I carried him over to our storage bench and had him sit down and he started to do a little better, I gave him a glass of OJ and that perked him up pretty well. I felt so bad for him cause it seemed like he was kind of embarrassed but also very worried. Chase was saying, "guy sick? guy hurt?" I helped him out to his car then and I think they were going to call the doctor when they got home. I think he just got low blood sugar from standing in the kitchen the whole time they were here. Anyway, there is a lady coming tomorrow morning to look at Abbi so hopefully we can sell her soon.

Yay for quick recoveries! I'm so glad it went well for you. I also like the giant tooth. I wish my teeth looked like that. Haha.
Good luck with selling your dog!
