Dental Update
Some of you may be wondering what happened at Ricky's dental appointment. We went there yesterday afternoon and apparently he had a dry socket where he had his one tooth extracted. You can read about what that is here but basically his gum was not healing properly. The Dr. said that it occurs in about 5% of all patients and they are not exactly sure what causes it. They fixed it pretty quickly after he was numbed up and sent us on our way. The Dr. said he will probably still be hurting for a couple weeks though until it fully heals. Thankfully it is raining and he had off all day yesterday and today so he can rest.

I've heard about how painful dry sockets can be. I'm glad you could get it taken care of!
Glad to hear Ricky's ok. The baby leggings were a gift - but my friend told me she bought them at Target. I love them :)
Yuck, that is why I hate the dentist. All the kids had appointments the last week, no cavities!! I am the only one with the bad teeth here. I hope he is feeling better soon.

I've never had a dry socket, but have heard they are the worst. My co-worker's daughter just had all four wisdom teeth extracted and got dry socket in two of them. Ugh. Hope Ricky's feeling better soon.
