It's been pretty busy around here lately. Thursday I drove down to Dawn's house again with Joanna, Chase stayed with Patty and Dominic. As soon as I got there we drove over to BabiesRUs and walked around the store registering for stuff for almost 2 hours. I think we both felt really good about everything we got accomplished. Dawn is due with a baby girl at the end of July/beginning of August and it is her first so we are all very excited for her. I had wanted to help her register since I would have liked the help when I was preggers with Chase, plus I really enjoy registering for baby stuff for some reason. That stuff is so cute. We walked all around the store and I wanted to buy everything there:) It was hard not to pick out everything in pink. The lady who had come to look at Abbi was supposed to come back with her husband to make sure he liked her that evening so I thought I had plenty of time until she called around noon (while we were still in the store) and asked if I would be home at 1:00pm. "um, nooo... oops." I told her I thought I'd be home around 3:00pm and meet her then. apparently her husband told her if she liked the dog to just get her and so she wanted to come get her as soon as possible. So Dawn and I finished up and went back to her house and she made me a sandwich while I nursed Joanna (who did so good in the store the whole time and was so polite to nurse speedily and fall asleep for the whole ride home) and then ran out the door as soon as she was done. I would have made it home with 20 minutes to spare but I hit traffic! It was an accident on the other side of the highway that we all just HAD to stop and look at. Really though I was very thankful that it was just a gaper delay because the accident on the other side had all lanes of traffic blocked. So I picked up Chase and rushed home and not 2 minutes later she came to get Abbi. Phew.
Friday, Mishti was acting kind of funny all day and she actually ran away twice! i kind of think she was confused and looking for Abbi. She's doing better now though and back to normal, she found comfort in this big man's lap.

They were calling for rain on Friday and I had really wanted to get some of my veggies in the garden so Ricky had tilled 1/2 of it on Thursday evening and I planted 2 1/2 rows first thing Friday morning. it ended up being a really nice day then and I guess I didn't have to rush out there and do it after all but at least it was done and I was able to enjoy the rest of my day. I planted onions, broccoli, and butter crunch lettuce. A little later in the morning, I was feeling good so I dropped Chase off at Ricky's parents' and put Jojo in the jogging stroller and went for a run. I went 2 miles, I went again yesterday while the kids were napping after church and really pushed myself and went 3 1/2. Now I'm really sore though:) I think I'll just do the stationary bike today. Friday afternoon I went for a haircut and left both the kids with Ricky's parents this time. Alma said Joanna did really good the whole time, what a relief, I think she is finally moving out of the clingy stage. I was seriously going to cut all my hair off again but my hairdresser talked me out of it. I guess I should keep it "long" at least until after our vacation so I can pull it back while we're camping. i do think I'm probably going to go short again soon though.
Saturday morning I woke up and didn't feel like going anywhere or doing anything all day. I decided to spend the rest of the day in my really comfy lounge pants and that made me feel better for some reason and I took the kids over to Patty's to decorate eggs.

It was actually a lot more fun than I had imagined it would be. Patty and I almost decorated all the eggs ourselves while the kids were playing but then thought better of it and called them to help. Chase really liked dropping the eggs in the dye. Here's the finished product:

Poor Ricky has been in pain again from his teeth and we think he might have an infection. He has an appointment with the dentist again tomorrow afternoon so we are hoping for rain tomorrow and that they are able to figure out what is wrong. We had to call the Dr. at his house yesterday and he called in a prescription for stronger antibiotics and more pain killers so he's feeling pretty good now I think. We did children's ministry at church yesterday morning and had a ton of kids! We were supposed to have a teen girl helping us but she forgot and I thought it was going to be just the two of us and was getting really nervous with all the kids piling in the classroom but some parents saw our nervous faces and got two helpers for us! We had 18 kids plus Joanna and it turned out to be just fine. Poor Ricky though:( he was hurting so bad. All the kids loved Joanna and she was being followed around the whole time, it was so cute. She's been getting quite a little personality lately and has been experimenting with eating a lot more. I didn't have to feed her the whole time we were at church, she was downing the crackers and watered down juice though.
In the evening we went over to Ricky's parents' for Easter dinner. Ricky's mom made everything and it was all so good. It was kind of a weird feeling to walk out the door with nothing but the kids but it was so nice too. After we ate we had an Easter egg hunt for Chase and Dominic, it was so fun to watch them run around after stuff. Unfortunately my camera battery was dead again, you'll have to take my word for it, they were cute.
Here's a couple more pictures before I end my book.

Patty gave Chase a bunch of books and stuff she had left over from when Dominic was that age. He was really enjoying these paint with water books.
Joanna loves crawling up onto the dishwasher. As soon as I open it she's up there. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, celebrating our Savior.

I hope Ricky feels better soon!!
Alex saw your pictures- he asked about the one of Joanna and said "Is she doing things she's not supposed to do?" Haha.
Your eggs are beautiful :) Looks like you had fun!

I love that picture of Joanna. I have one of you sitting on the dishwasher, so like mother, like daughter!
