Two more Troublesome Teeth

So yesterday I drove down to my sister Dawn's house in the morning to help her register for baby stuff. We were planning on going to the actual store and walking around with the gun for a while but it didn't really work out. First thing in the morning Ricky called to tell me he wanted to go to the dentist and his tooth hurt really bad. I called the dentist office and the only thing they had was a 2:30pm. Ricky really wanted me to go with him so I had to make sure to be home in time to take him (more on that later). I went and dropped Chase off at Ricky's mom's and started on my way to see Dawn, it takes me about an hour an 15 minutes to get there. I think I talked to Dawn about 4 or five times on the way trying to decide what we were going to do, it turned out that she had an OBGYN appointment that she forgot about and we would have only had about 45 minutes in the store if we went. My mom had driven up too and we all decided that it would be better if we just started the registry online first and talked about all the things that she might need and then I come back on Thursday. So that's what we did. It worked out pretty well too, she was able to register for a bunch of the big stuff, and hopefully when we go tomorrow we won't be in the store forever filling out paperwork.

I don't get to see my sister's as much as I would like anyway so I really don't mind going back. I'll have to take Chase with me this next time though.

Joanna kept trying to "help" Dawn with her register too:) She is so cute, I just love her blue eyes. She's been trying to imitate a lot lately. Ricky said she signed mommy the other night but I missed it and then she wouldn't do it again.

Anyway, After Dawn left for her appointment my Mom and I went to Panera's for lunch (her treat, thanks mom!). Then as soon as we were done I had to drop her off and head for home. I thought I might run out of gas on the turnpike! Right after I passed the valley forge exit my light came on and the next exit was quite a ways off, I was so nervous that I was going to be stranded, but thankfully I made it to the gas station and then made it home just in time to take poor Ricky to his appointment.

I felt so bad for him. since it was an emergency he had to have the mean dentist, who is very rough and seems to enjoy hurting people:( He was pushing and tapping on Ricky's teeth so hard! They discovered that one of Ricky's wisdom teeth was very badly decayed and another one was impacted and pushing against his other teeth and causing bone loss so we decided while we were there they would both come out. I didn't stay in the room while they were pulling the teeth but Ricky said the one impacted one was really hard to get out, they had to split it in two first and then the Dr. was pulling so hard that he was sweating, gross. The other decayed one came out very easily, it was crazy how bad it looked too, I was going to take a picture of it but Ricky took the teeth to work with him today:) So He was pretty miserable the rest of the evening, even though he got the good drugs:) I dropped him off at home afterwards and then went and got Chase, who hadn't napped all day (it was 4:30pm!) and was having a meltdown when I got there, dropped him off at home and layed him down, went with Jojo to get Ricky's prescription, came back home and took care of him the rest of the night. What a busy day of running here and there! yikes. So now we owe the dentist a lot of money! Hopefully we sell Abbi today so I can pay them, ugh.

I talked to him this morning and he said he was feeling better.

I remembered what I had wanted to say the other night, it was that Chase had eaten a whole stalk of broccoli the other night at dinner! (really important, I know, but I was impressed).
