He is a little small to play it though but Ricky and I have been playing it with each other and having lots of fun with it, poor Chase.
Joanna loved her little digital key chain...
Christmas day we were with Ricky's family all day. We went over there for brunch in the morning and then opened gifts and hung out until dinner time. After dinner and dessert we went over to Ricky's Aunt and Uncle's house for Games and Ricky let me stay while he took the kids home and put them to bed! that was so nice.
the next day was the Yoder family Christmas and that was lots of fun. I think I overdid it with the sweets all weekend because I was sick (throwing up) on Sunday and poor Ricky had to play mom for the day. Monday I felt better though and my parents were able to come over for dinner. I don't remember much about the rest of the week. Thursday night (new year's eve) Dominic slept over and we went to bed at 10:30. Oh, we moved the kids room and set up bunk beds for them that we had gotten from Sheila's parents for $25.
I love their new room and Dominic loved sleeping on the top bunk when he was here.
I have the bottom bunk set up for Joanna but I'm not sure I'm ready for her to sleep there yet. So Chase has been sleeping on the top bunk and the bottom bunk is empty for now. Their new room is so big there is plenty of room for the pack-n-play (where Jo sleeps), and there isn't really a need to move her right now anyway.
Friday morning I made everyone a big breakfast on my new electric griddle that I got for Christmas (Love it!) and then we got showered up and drove down to NJ to have Christmas with my family. We had such a blast! After opening presents and lunch we went on a traditional Christmas hike. This year we went to Rancoucas Indian reservation.
It turned out to be a really nice day for a hike and everyone had lots of fun.
Watching for deer, yes we did see a whole lot of them.
C & C's little dog Lilly (was from one of our litters) was very cozy in her sweater :)
Yes we saw a buffalo in NJ!
After we got back from our hike we all played games and hung out till dinner time.
we ended up leaving right after dinner and got home close to 8:00. the kids were sooo tired and very hard to put to sleep but they seem to have recovered now :)
When my parents were up on Monday my dad asked us if we would want a refrigerator as he knew of someone who was getting rid of one. So we said sure and picked up up while we were down there. well it turned out to be a very nice refrigerator and I am so excited about all the extra room I have now!

Our kids have been fighting over that zip track and especially the car. Aiden likes how you can drag it in to other rooms without it falling apart.
Are you going to get a water line hooked up to the fridge? That is exciting getting a nice big one like that!
Ricky already hooked up the water line! I didn't think he could do it but He never ceases to amaze me :) Chase has been enjoying getting himself ice water, he switches it to the ice and gets a couple cubes and then he switches it to the water and fills up his cup! What a big boy! :)
You'd think if Ricky would be able to lay huge pipes under roads that he would be able to figure out how to hook up a little water line to your fridge. ;)
Haha! I didn't think that one through I guess :D
