New Job

I've been so terrible at updating! I lost my camera for a while so I don't have any pictures for you either. It's been super busy around here, of course. A couple weeks ago I started a new job. Dr. Parker hasn't had any work for me for a few months so we decided it was time for me to look for a "real" job. Well after filling out many applications and going to probably 20 different places to see if they were hiring I got a job at our local Recreation Center. I love it too! It's really perfect for me because it's only 12 hours a week with 3 four hour shifts. The kids have been loving going to grandma's house twice a week and so far Ricky has been able to stay with them on the third day. As you know I am very interested in physical fitness and health so I really love this job and being able to help people get healthy, plus I get a free gym membership which is just awesome. My official title is Customer Service Coordinator but I am basically a receptionist.
Dominic slept over our house again last weekend. We were going to try and take everyone to an indoor ice skating rink but the one we went to was packed with sooo many teany boppers that we left and just went for hot chocolate and donuts, that was fun too. Ricky took Chase to a little pond near our house the next day and Chase just ran around on the ice in his boots.
Yesterday was pretty busy for me too, I had to take Jenna to the vet in the morning. She gained 6 pounds in 4 weeks! I do love this dog, really, she's so cool. She does really well running with me too and I was able to take her out a bunch this week with the warmer weather so that was nice.
Today we spent cleaning, Ricky cleaned all the vehicles and his garage and I cleaned the first floor of the house and my flowerbeds. Dominic came over again around 4:00pm to play with Chase and I made them play outside while I finished mopping the floor. Joanna was hilarious following behind them everywhere. Ricky made dinner tonight again, venison steaks and venison burgers. I made corn (still from our garden) to go with it and Dominic was able to stay and eat with us. I walked him home after dinner and then came home and baked an Apple Spice Cake that Dawn had given me a mix for. It turned out really good (Ricky ate almost half of it already) and the whole house smells so good now. Thanks Dawny! :)
Well I think that's it for now, we are planning on going to Chad and Sheila's after church tomorrow and then Ricky is going to make ribs for dinner. I'm telling you, he is really into the cooking thing, I'm really loving it :)
Sorry I didn't have any pictures this time but I did find my camera today so I'll try and start being better about that.

Good for you on the new job. Sounds almost like more fun than work! And you're still available for the little ones.
