A Lovely Easter with Family

Yesterday we left church a little early and headed down to my parent's house for Easter dinner. We had the very un-traditional Easter salmon on the grill and Caesar salad. The salmon was so yummy, and it was a beautiful day so we ate outside on the deck under the magnolia.

After lunch we had a (gasp!) Egg hunt for all the kids.

On the way home Chase asked me, "Why they have eggs there?" So I was trying to explain it to him. The kids had so much fun though and Joanna ate all her candy and a bunch of other people's too. We got home around 7:00 and were all pretty exhausted. I convinced Ricky over the weekend not to use his Screaming Meanie so Joanna woke up at a normal time this morning which was really nice. Hopefully Ricky can keep waking up without it, I have an alarm on my side that I set and he set his on his side so with both of them going off we should be able to get him up. Poor guy, its hard to wake up at 4:30 every morning!
