June is for: Birthdays (again) and baseball

Today is Joanna's birthday! Happy Second birthday Joanna! This little girl brings us such joy, she has such a personality and makes us laugh with all her funny expressions. Here's her "model" face:

Last night Ricky's family came over in the evening to help us celebrate both Chase and Joanna's birthday again. They came over later in the evening so we only did a simple cake and ice cream get together. The kids were so excited though. Ricky and I had gotten this camera for Chase last weekend and it's fun seeing all the pictures he takes with it.

Alma and Patty got Joanna this shopping cart and little backpack. She's been putting her doll in the shopping cart and pushing it all around the house.

And here's a little video of the festivities:
(like my shirt Dawn?)
Chase got a logging truck from Alma and Patty and was so excited he couldn't even talk!
On Friday my cousin, who also works with Ricky, gave Ricky two tickets to the Phillies game today. So the kids went over to Ricky's parents and we got to go to the game all by ourselves! It was nice being able to spend the time together, and driving our super cool minivan down there :) but it was soooo hot! It must have been 100degrees in the stands, I was dripping sweat just sitting there.
Adam Sandler came to the game, can you see him?

Around the 6th inning we got up from our seats and walked around a little. We watched 2 innings standing up in Ashburn Alley which was much cooler for some reason. I also had the brilliant idea of getting an ice cream cone to cool down and it turned out to be the fastest melting ice cream cone ever! It was dripping all down my hands and on my shoes and I just couldn't help it. We got back to the van and the temperature said 97degrees, yikes! Well at least the Phillies won :)

Did John give you the tickets? I would like to see a Phillies game, but not in that heat! I can't believe your little ones are so grown up already. Can't wait to see you all this week end. My cookies are done and in the freezer.
