3 weeks old

Katy is starting to be more alert when she is awake.  She's such a good baby, still sleeping and eating wonderfully.
For some reason, Ricky and I have decided that she looks like a little squirrel.  Maybe it's because she usually has her hands up by her face like this...
I've been feeling proud of every time I'm able to get out of the house lately.  Friday afternoon Ricky's mom came over while the kids were napping and I was able to go all by myself and do grocery shopping.
Saturday morning Ricky's grandmom's house and possessions were going for auction so Ricky and Chase went over early in the morning to help organize stuff and then Joanna, Katy and I went over around 10:30am and stayed until the two older kids couldn't take it anymore.  The house didn't go for as much as I thought it would but it was nice to see that whole side of the family again.  We hadn't seen all of them together since Ricky's Grandfather's funeral over a year ago.  We also got a few things at the auction.  Ricky got these 3 really old songbooks that had belonged to his grandfather for a dollar!  One of them was dated 1918!  Chase had been hoping to be able to buy some of the toys that were there but they were all really old collectible toys so ended up going for a lot more than his $2 a week would buy.
Yesterday after church we went out to eat with some of our friends and had a lot of fun.  There were 8 kids and 6 adults!
This morning I took the kids to the library and got a huge stack of books.
And I decided to make a cake this afternoon for no reason whatsoever, except that we like cake.
I got the best picture of Katy today smiling really big!
Those dimples are just awesome :)

Oh my goodness! Look at baby Katy! So alert already I can't believe she is already 3 weeks old! And her dimples are just too cute, the other two don't have them do they? Good for you getting out of the house so soon with all the kiddos. Looking foward to seeing you soon!
