My dad hadn't seen Katy in person yet so yesterday afternoon my mom and dad drove up for a quick visit. They got here around 2:30pm, just as the kids were getting up from their naps, they were very excited to wake up and see Grammy and Pop-pop here :)
My dad tends to wind the kids up and so they were running around the house screaming and carrying on this I shoo-ed them all outside. My mom and I then caught him climbing in our tree, hee hee.
It has been really cold in the mornings lately but it warmed up nicely in the afternoon yesterday so I thought maybe a walk to the park would help the "kids" expend some energy.
Chase did the monkey bars for the first time!
We stayed for a while and then came home and hung out, reading books and admiring Katy :)
Ricky got home a little after 5:00 and we had meatball subs and salad for dinner and then hung out for a little before they went home. It was so nice they could come up for a short visit.

I think your Dad is the best at getting the little ones all wound up. Chase did a great job on the monkey bars, now he'll want to do it all the time.
