Just a little update

A couple Sunday's ago we went fishing in the evening.  It was so hot and we took Jenna along and waded around in the water to cool off.  We ended up catching quite a few fish too but just put them all back.

Chase ended up catching three all by himself and he was very proud.

We're still waiting on teeth.  I keep thinking I see some but I can't feel any at all.  She is wearing her big sister's 18 months hand-me-downs!  And crawling around getting into trouble :)

She's also been eating more and more at mealtimes with us.  Last night she LOVED spaghetti. I can't believe she is going to be 8 months old on Friday!  She also likes to work out like mommy :P

I've still been doing the couch to 5k program and on week 6 now.  It's tough going and I've had to repeat weeks a few times but it feels good to get back into it. Yesterday I went 2.5 miles.  Also I just joined weight watchers online on Saturday.  I was having trouble losing the weight on my own and have heard really good things about this new improved program of theirs.  So far I really like it.  It's very do-able and practical for me, plus they have a specially designed program just for nursing mothers.  I also got an App on my phone that scans bar codes of any item and tells me the point value... pretty cool!  Fruits and Veggies are all 0 points so that is very helpful. Especially now when all the produce stands are open, yum!

Last weekend I worked on shaving two of the dogs.  I still need to do the other two but Jenna definitely takes the longest.  It took me 3 hours to get her completely groomed.  I think the longest part is her legs and paws.  I have to shave in between each toe and it's very time consuming.  Thankfully she doesn't mind being groomed and just lays down all submissively for as long as it takes.

I think if she wasn't so nice about it I would take her to get groomed, and not do it as often.  She's much cooler since I shaved her too.

I also shaved Blondie who is definitely pregnant, due at the end of this month.  And Jenna is due next Friday! why do they all have to have litters at once? :P  I just sold the last puppy from Penny's litter.  Blondie I was able to shave in about an hour.  I still need to do the other two though.

Sunday I went to a baby shower for Ricky's cousin and she was registered at a Mennonite store down the road from us so I also picked up this really cute bonnet for Katy.  I love how it looks on her :) 

 I also got Joanna a new little dress which she loves.
