Sunday after church I drove up with Joanna and Katy to meet some friends of mine for a get together at Zoo America in Hershey, PA. We got there around 12:15 and had lunch with everyone and then walked around the zoo for a while. It was a lot of fun, everyone had babies around the same age as Katy so it was fun to see all the babies interacting with one another.
This super cute dress of Katy's was a birthday gift from my mom!
It's not a huge zoo but it was big enough to keep us occupied for a couple hours.
Joanna didn't seem that into it.
She's going through a phase where she doesn't want her picture taken... so of course I still try to take her picture :P

In my last post you saw a video of Chase tumbling and flipping around... well he does this stuff all day long every day of the week. Jumps on the couches and chairs, flips, does cartwheels, somersaults, headstands, etc, etc. so I figured it was time to get him involved in some type of sport.
Tuesday morning was his first day for gymnastic classes! I also signed Joanna up for classes but they are in different age groups so have classes at different times. Chase's was first
All the kids wait on this little bench before the class starts and waits for the instructors to come get them.
He was really nervous/scared at first and started crying so I had to go out with him and stand next to him for a couple minutes. When they asked them to RUN, he was gone without looking back and didn't even ask for me the rest of the class :) He had such a good time then and is really excited for next weeks class already.
Doing the balance beam
Joanna's class was next and she wasn't extremely cooperative but did seem to enjoy it... I'm sure next week she'll do better :P
At one point her class was doing the balance beam and other circuits and she ended up getting to the balance beam before the instructor so in true Jo fashion she just went on across without a spotter.
Well I saw her doing this and said, "Joanna, you are not supposed to do that by yourself, you need to wait for the teacher."
and she said, "huh? Oh."
and turned around and ran back down the balance beam to the other side. Ha ha! Whoops!

Katy's dress is very cute and she looks so like you in those last pictures with her hair standing up.
The kids had fun watching Chase doing gymnastics! Reminds me of when we did it as kids.
