November

I've had pictures uploaded for over a few weeks now and just have not been able to get to writing about them.  I'm going to do a separate post for Thanksgiving because there are so many pictures but here is a summary of our month of November.  In the beginning of the month Ricky went on a week long hunt in Illinois.  He had been planning this hunt for over a year and was excited to hopefully get a chance at a big whitetail.  It was really hard having him away for so long but thankfully he did get a big one out there! So it was worth it :)

While he was away we kept pretty busy, with school, gymnastics, church, and the day to day activities.  Dominic turned 10 on the 8th and we went over for a little party for him that night.
Chase had picked out a little gift for him that he was really excited about and his parents' got him a puppy!
I had a video of him opening the present to clue him in he was getting a puppy but it was so long I couldn't upload it to youtube.  I'm going to keep trying, I'm not very patient though.
The puppies helped keep me busy too.  They are 7 weeks this Sunday and just as cute as ever.  They are super playful now and really funny.  When Ricky and I get up in the morning and let them out they just tear around the kitchen rolling and playing with everything :)
This video is really long but also really cute:
They are both sold now, leaving us next weekend, so that's good.  I had one lady back out of buying the male puppy so I had to advertise and he was sold within one day of placing my ad!  Christmas time is a good time to sell puppies I guess :P
We were so thankful to have Ricky home on the 10th and spent all weekend catching up with each other and spending time together.  Ricky and I went on a date night that Friday.  We went out to eat and then to the mall and just walked around the whole mall, window shopping, and he helped me pick out a new pair of shoes.
It was a lot of fun :)
Sunday we went for a hike in the woods and it was a beautiful day. Some of the leaves were still on the trees.
We didn't go far but it was fun to be out on such a gorgeous day.  I really loved the weather we had this month of November, it was just perfect.
Chase took this picture:
Not bad.  Doesn't Katy look like she's getting so big?!
We found a road!
Chase had his track book and a walking stick :)
On Tuesday the 15th we had a Foreman and Wives dinner with Ricky's company.  It's nice to be able to start getting out by ourselves more now.  Katy loves her Me-maw and Pop-pop and does really well with them.  Me-maw can put her to sleep like nobodies business!

On the 19th we went to my Aunt and Uncle's house for my Grandfather's 80th birthday party.  It was very nice to see everyone and to celebrate Pop-pop and hear stories of days past.

After much waiting and anticipation, my sister Christy had her baby on the 14th (2 weeks late).  We were so excited for her and I was able to make a trip out there to visit the next Monday.  I had called her before I left and asked if she needed anything at BB's since she likes to shop there too, when they are in the area.  She said they needed cereal, lots of cereal.  So I stopped and they just so happened to have a really large selection of organic cereal and I ended up getting 22 boxes and bags of cereal for her.  I meant to take a picture of it all because it looked really funny to me.  Hopefully the kids are thinking of their awesome Aunt Amy every time they eat breakfast, ha ha! :P
We didn't stay very long at all but little Claire is adorable and I was so glad to see her, and my sister, a little bit.
And the kids had fun playing with each other too, of course.
Katy found the stash of hats and enjoyed trying them ALL on.

Ricky and I started our new budget system a couple weeks ago and are pretty excited about it.  I've also been getting up with Ricky in the mornings.  It has been nice, I'm learning to  become a morning person, believe it or not :P  We get up around 4:30 or 5:00am and have breakfast and coffee together.  Then when he leaves for work I get to work out or catch up on computer stuff.  It's helped me become much more consistent with my running.  I just upped my time and distance again and am up to 3 mile running (with a 10 minute walk in the middle) and 1 mile walking.  I'm going to try and do our town's 5 mile run this summer so I still have a couple miles to add in there... I'm sure I'll get there by July though :)

So that's pretty much November.  I'll write about our Thanksgiving soon.
